i never really played the original that much, i'm probabyl gonna give it a try when it's gonna cost 10 dollars.
I’ll definitely buy it, but I can’t help but feel like this late in the gen, I would have rather they just waited and put it out on PS5/XsX
I actually preferred the seamless power transition on consoles way more than PC's static switch, the console version had more in common gameplay-wise with the original trailer of the game, which is what made me get the game in the first place:
Original developers probably thought we'd be all on 10GHz processors by now lolMultithreading alone should make it perform like a normal game
They need to change stuff because Crysis was made for single-core in mind. If they don't do it, why bother?Interested to see how original PC version and this new PC version differ.
Why not save it for PS5/XBSX to display it with all bells and whistles?
Who is saying PS5/seX will not get?Why not save it for PS5/XBSX to display it with all bells and whistles?

Damn, that's better than most people experienced back in 2007.Of course it can!
At 320p.
At lower than Lowest.
At 24FPS.
Those are completely different assets. They are not remaking the game.So these where really screenshots of the remaster that was featured in the Cryengine trailer months ago, ( Crysis 1 was looking soo good that the remaster looks next gen)

If PS360 can, Switch sure can too.
Read all my previous posts. It could not. It had to be rebuilt using Cryengine 3, and I'm sure that's what we're getting here.
It's Crytek and EA. There will be a next gen version, but it's not going to be a free update.I hope is native 4k on the X and upgradable to ray tracing on the series X

To be honest, this hardware never fails to impress me. The Switch library is filled with "Impossible ports", The Witcher 3 being the most impressive one. A decent Crysis port, handled by the right team, is not completely out of the ordinary.
