Dark Messiah of M & M: Elements - screenshots, announce trailer -MP exclusive on 360

How prominently does the sardonic voice-over / voice-in-head figure in the game ? From the reviews I've read, whether or not I can deal with that is going to make/break more than whether or not the graphics are exactly as good as these shots.

That said, if it really does look quite that nice - count me in.

Might be down for this game. Not too fond of the genre considering it's a (Ho)MM game, but whatever.

Hopefully it'll be better than Oblivion.

Those have to be bullshots. Looks nothing like that maxed out on a PC.
Maybe it's a case of PS3 Oblivion, where the devs have had some additional time to squeeze out a few snazzy effects from the engine.

Xenos is a nasty little beast in the right hands, and we've already seen videos of Bioshock that look as good as these screens.

umm, the trailer looks pretty good, but not like those screens

On second look, yeah, its not that it looks particularly amazing...its how clean the screens are...definite bullshots, no doubt ubis doing though

peace

yeah, it looks like they just added a big bloom effect for the 360 shots. or they could be bullshots.

plus, they have had plenty of time to optimize the engine and turn up the graphics a bit.

EDIT:

The resolution on the terrain in those pics look pretty bad in comparison to the characters.

I smell some doctored images.

Always heard about this series, but never checked it out before... trailer looks interesting, even though it's not my type of game...

Best melee combat in any game I've played by far. Here's hoping it finds some success on consoles, the developers deserve it.

The slutty demon in your head adds to the camp. You have to be willing to approach the game like you would a Michael Bay flick or other summer b-list cinema-if you can't get over cheese and camp in your games, you'll find it really obnoxious.

I downloaded the demo on steam.

It was so much fun to be an assassin and come up behind people slit their throat and kick them off of a ledge.

Lemme scrounge up some gameplay videos of that.

even though he spelled it wrong

here is the assassin video

Which trailer are you talking about? The Dark Messiah trailer on Marketplace looks pretty meh, but I figured it was all PC footage.

If you're referring to Bioshock, then I'd have to differ with you. The B Roll footage is probably the most impressive thing I've seen running on consoles.

only to point out a new quest objective or when you're conversing with another character. if you choose to expel her you get some great exorcist-type action in a church.

It's a really cool game. I particularly liked the multiplayer (which despite the wierd wording, remains intact in the 360 version. The Annecy guys just added some more maps) which actually did just about everything Shadowrun does only like a year earlier.

Definitely worth a purchase, in fact I may buy it a second time for a run through on the 360.
