Florence and the machine: Ceremonials.

It's a classic for a reason. The lyrics are despaired and its atmosphere dreading, but goddamn it's a great indie pop album.

Lots of great stuff already mentioned.

Pram are both super catchy and extremely eerie.

I also love His Name Is Alive.

And Insides is equally beautiful and depressing ambient pop.

All three of those bands are severely underappreciated.
