Thanks mate! They all got buffed?! YAY!!
Did you put the lord souls on their thrones?
Have a look at the thrones.
You gotta run past them by dropping down to the left off the bridge and going way around. You will see when you get back there
missed 1 estus shard and 2 ashes
does anyone remember any of those that would be easy to miss off the top of your head?
is rolling while locked on to an enemy new to Dark Souls 3 or did they have that mechanic in the previous two games?
Yup, both games.is rolling while locked on to an enemy new to Dark Souls 3 or did they have that mechanic in the previous two games?
I got an estus shard from a mimic In Irithyll Dungeon yesterday. And there was an Undead Ash hidden between a tombstone and a wall in Irithyll.
Yup, both games.
It was Bloodborne that added a dodge/quickstep option when locked on.

so whatd the patch do?
It made it so now all the weapons not a straight sword or greatsword need a buff.![]()
For the giant crystal lizard in Cemetary of Ash I would advise just hanging back and letting him screw himself over. All of his attacks are blockable and have huge recovery windows. Many of them will also whiff if you stay on the move. Definitely worth killing him since he drops 4000 souls and some rare upgrade materials.
Still there is a difference between the individual Dark Souls games. In one and three, the direction of your roll is restricted to four cardinal directions in relation to to the enemy while locked on, while you can roll In any direction without being locked on. In two, you had the free roll regardless whether you were locked on or not, which I vastly preferred.
Only thing that needs a buff is some of the quirky dex weapons. Scythes, whips, etc.
Magic is a whole different problem.

That and the Llewellyn shield. Thing feels like the godlike Dark Souls 1 parry. As long as they don't nerf the parry window for the small leather shield everything is fine, parrying is ridiculously easy with that shield.
Casual confirmed
I think that's a list of results with only weapons they've done tests on so far, not everything that has been buffed/changed. It looks like Astora Greatsword did get a buff.Of course the greatsword that I use, Astora Greatsword, doesn't get a buff :\
I can imagine playing a heavy character would be hell against him but I melee'd him and had a fast roll and it took me about 3-4 tries.I fought thelast night and is it just me or is he a shitty boss? I had to kite him with arrows because I couldn't see what the fuck was going on when trying to melee him.Old Demon King

I like this game a lot but trying to summon someone is almost impossible.
Also, were attacking me while talking toskeletons, so when a blow landed onAnri of Astora, the game acted like I had attacked so now that quest line is ruined.her

Different shields have different parry windows? Why have I never known this, I thought it was a generalized mechanic (Aka Parry or No Parry). Mind blown!
fight might be my favorite fight in the series by a mile. The Princes

And it seems 1.03.1 also fixed the FPS stuttering. I don't know if that means the one that comes from picking up items or not.
I hear fire uchi is pretty useful can someone confirm? I'm using the regular one right now and Id like a decent dex scaling weapon. Maybe I'll make the ice scythe sharp or something.
So how does the difficulty compare to the rest of series (including non-Dark Souls series games)?
Seriously fuck these gank squads. I got summon twice to be ganked by 3 people, bunch of asswipes. How can From implement a Red soapstone but don't implement a countermeasure to these ganks?
As someone who rolled through everything in DkS1 and 2, I can confirm that is not the case. You have to play REALLY conservatively in this game if you're rolling since enemies in general are just a lot faster and more reactive in this game.Depends on your playstyle. If you relied on heavy, high-poise armour and high stability shields in Dark Souls, you're screwed.
If you rolled through everything you'll be okay.
Seriously what the hell is up with the droprate of Proof of a Concord Kept. I've had only one drop today with almost three hours of farming. Anyone have a spare mimic head to give?
