I have really enjoyed your Onimusha series, but sadly I have come to the conclusion that you are an idiot.
I played through all of Onimusha3's Dark realms accepting the somewhat meagre rewards that they offered, until I got to the final two. These two behemoths took a considerable amount of time to complete but I thought that they were worth it when they netted me the ultimate weapons for each character. So I'm sure you can sympathise with my dismay when upon gaining these weapons I was able to use 1 of them on the final boss for all of 2 minutes before the game ended. Surely I thought such a crappy and unsatisfying result, all that time and effort put in to obtaining them only to then almost not get to use them at all that this would mean I would start a new game and they would be made available for me to use for an enjoyable second playthrough.
Imagine how stunned I was that this was not the case and that in order to use my hard won weapons for anything approaching a reasonable amount of time I would have to complete a shooting gallery style mini-game. Disgruntled yet not totally disheartened I pressed on, expecting the worse. My horror should be evident when I discovered that I should have lowered my expectations still further when said mini-game plummed such depths of atrociousness that mere words can not adequately convey just how utterly, utterly, utterly dreadful this mini-game was.
So I ask that when you make your next game, Shadow of Rome, that you please avoid fucking the player over in order to get some airtime for something that the tea-boy put together (for I refuse to believe that any developer, no matter how bad, could have thought such drek acceptable for public consumption).
