Not yet, they're working on it. There was some long downtime a week (or two?) ago that was meant to be prep work for cross save.Hey all, I haven't played this game in quite a while, but I'm going to get back into it when it goes to Steam. Did Bungie ever implement a console/PC cross save system so I don't have to start from scratch on PC?
Ah, cool. I made a new warlock in the meantime to reacquaint myself with the game. Ended up getting drawn back in.Not yet, they're working on it. There was some long downtime a week (or two?) ago that was meant to be prep work for cross save.
Initially I bounced off the game hard after the main campaign but came back for Forsaken. A lot of things have improved and are on the way to improving. Freedom from the icy grips of Activision seems promising so far, but I can't absolve Bungie of some of the past choices!Ah, cool. Man it's amazing how good this game is, but how bad their business decisions pushed me away from it. The game is still an absolute joy to play.
I do find the 60FPS of PC a little off-putting. The 30FPS of consoles make the game feel more cinematic. It almost feels "cheap" with the framerate increase. I noticed it less and less the longer I played though, I'm sure it's just bias of hundreds of hours on PS4 across Destiny 1 and 2.
Yea I'm excited to see where it goes with Bungie self publishing, for sure. That said, a lot of the shitty decisions supposedly came directly from Bungie, so I'll take it with a grain of salt.Initially I bounced off the game hard after the main campaign but came back for Forsaken. You could cap to 30FPS if you wanted but I have very different preferences when it comes to FPS You might possibly have some residual feeling of "oh this looks like video on a cheap camcorder @ 60FPS. Yuck.", perhaps ?
I can only stomach pvp when mayhem is up. Actually did the 5 games for the milestone this week...
Just queue up the non-team one (Slayer?) and AFK through the games. They go quick (5 min each?) and you're not ruining it for anybody else.
Every now and then you get a comp Crucible game where nobody is using Lord of Wolves and it is so wonderfully fun. And then you get a game where the entire enemy team has it and you remember that Luke Smith literally doesn't care about Crucible
What a shitty developer
LOL 3 matches in a row I get matched up against a 6 stack. Won 2 of them, but the 3rd one was full of a bunch of trashcan tryhards with Lord of Wolves lmfaooo
This game's dumpster fire of a matchmaking system is so pathetic
Don't share that opinion on the hivemind that lives on the bungie forums. Everything from top to bottom of PVP needs a rebuild, going to sixes fixed nothing when they did nothing to bring forward enough sized maps for it. Now we are playing on maps for 4s with gun TTK made for much larger maps, along with the insane amount of super duration. Like this game needs a complete overhaul for PVP to be even halfway decent in my eyes.
Absolutely. 6v6 plays like a fucking mess on these maps, and the supers are so overpowered it's stupid.
Probably gonna drop Crucible like a bad habit once MCC lands on PC lol
Not a bad call, I've actually just gone back to playing D1, much better experience for what I want out of a Destiny game. Wish I could find a new PVP game to get into (Not a huge PVP fan TBH) that would have that D1 feel while having it done by a company that actually cares about keeping its game playable
That's where I'm at except I love PvP games in general. Looking for a crispy feeling FPS to play. The simple fact that Lord of Wolves STILL hasn't been fixed is all the empiric proof I need that Bungie doesn't give two shits about the quality of their PvP mode.
Battlefield V was supposed to be my main shooter timesink but if Destiny's PvP is a dumpster fire, Battlefield V is an entire flaming landfill lol, DICE has no idea what the fuck they're doing this gen so MCC is my last hope for a good MP shooter on PC.
2 games in a row we lose a 30+ point lead because the other team just starts chaining these neverending skill-less 1 hit kill triple armor roaming supers lmfaooooo
God I just want a skill-based and balanced PvP game without this casual hand-holdy bullshit. Can't believe Bungie assfucked the Crucible this hard.
Yeah I've done that. End up playing those because usually 2-5 others afk.
More people need to play Destiny. The game is awesome. Yes, I'm an addict...... Still running a large clan and thriving.
It's been forever since I posted here last....
$hit, I've had an account here for 10 years? wow..
Just finished the main campaign and glad I finally decided to give this a try. Woot!
Vanilla. I'm currently just going back and doing sidequests I missed.Of vanilla or Forsaken? I’m curious how vanilla campaign goes with the latest sandbox and with all the updates.
What’s funny about forsaken ... I knew a lot of people that know idea the dreaming city was a thing for quite awhile.
They’re changing that with new light tho but still... it was thug I guess
