Alpha was during E3. If it happens again it'll probably be during that.

First Look Alpha was the weekend of E3 on Playstation consoles. Is the main reason DestinyGAF was primarily PS4 oriented.

It's hard to say if they'll do ti again or just have a closed alpha this time.

Seriously a whole week off for this game? I could understand one day but come on a week? That's just stupid esecpially the fact that the raid won't even be out for launch.

I have a friend who is flying down that week who I rarely see for the launch. Granted we will play a shit ton of Destiny 2 but well also be hanging out and exploring the town and stuff with my wife. We just decided to make a big deal of it cause why not, haha.

Alpha was the PS4 preorder buyers.

Beta was for all plataform preorder buyers.

There will be both announced st E3 with PS4 getting Alpha before the Beta.

The Cabal also have a war with the Vex going on and Mercury was converted into a Vex machine so I would guess it's related to that.

{The first zone} That we're talking about is the European Dead Zone. It's dominated by this massive shard of The Traveler. So if you've ever gazed up at that big white ball and noticed that there's sort of wounded portion of it. This is, like, one of those pieces that fell off.

“Are Grimoire Cards coming back?” I asked Destiny 2 Art Director Mike Zak.

He responded, “Our goal is definitely to bring all of that lore and all of that story into the game as much as possible. And so you’re gonna see that in our worlds, and the way you explore them, and the things you do there. We’re really trying to layer in lore like that. Things to find. Thing to Learn. Things to discover. In the world.”

Not a definite “no” when it comes to Grimoire Cards, but if they do end up in the game, it at least seems like they won’t be necessary to understand or enjoy the story in Destiny 2. This is a huge and very welcome change for the series, helping build it up as the massive scifi universe that Bungie seemed to be going for with the first game.

Not surprising. The gameplay had a fair amount of aliasing. Would like to see that improved before release.

I'm not bummed by them overhauling current subclasses to balance them.

What they did with the Sunsinger (now Dawnblade) does a lot more for the game than adding another set of subclasses that would still play second fiddle to self-revive.

Same goes for Titan and their bubble.

If Bones of Eao come back (or something with the same effect), and there's an exotic that eliminates/heavily reduces the cooldown on dodges, I'm going to have a very rough time choosing which to main. That reloading dodge is gonna be filthy, but I feel naked in crucible without my 3 strafe jumps

All supers are OHK in PVP.

The golden gun sucks worse in pve then in D1. Usually requiring a two shit kill. And the timer goes down faster so you might not even get the full 6 off.
I hope the Celestial Nighthawk comes back in some form.

I would absolutely buy an illustrated Grimoire.

As long as it matches the super's elemental property. So a Solar Fusion Rifle would deal heavy damage to an opponent using Golden Gun.
