So I was strategizing for leveling up my alts with armor past 20, and I was looking through the guides and I couldn't find this info anywhere regarding the amount of light in each armor piece with each defense upgrade:

Blue level 20 armor starts at 13 light and can get you to 15 light (no ass shards needed)

legendary armor starts at 18 light, and the first two defense upgrades get you to 22 light (2+2) without ass shards, then three more defense upgrades get you to 27 light with 6 ass shards for each upgrade that give you 1+2+2 light in that order.

Raid legendary armor is the same as legendary armor except for 6+6+6 shards your last three defense upgrades give you 2+3+3 light for a total of 30 light in that order.

Exotic armor starts at 21 light, can go up to 23 light without shards, and the last three defense upgrades require 8+8+8 shards and get you 2+3+3 light in that order for a total of 30 light.

I was interested in this info and I couldn't find it in any guide. Please correct if it is wrong or missing details. Thanks!

It's happened to me on many occasions where people I've tried to help have joined last minute and have gotten TLW, Mythoclast, etc. I think the key to good loot in Destiny is to join last minute and do absolutely nothing. I don't really feel bad about it cause ultimately my intention was to try to help them get good loot so mission accomplished.

Need hands and it will be my first 30... an alt getting to 30 before my main, FML, my Warlock has such bad luck

So I got the Atheon's Epilogue today and I need to know if it's worth upgrading? Does that void damage and extra oracle damage mean a lot in the raid or should I just stick to my fully upgraded Suros?

7.33 K/D...keep this up I'll have Thorn by tomorrow. Wish there was a way to check medals in Crucible since I'm curious as to what one of my kill streaks was.

Edit: Nvm, I think it was 17 out of my 22 kills in that match. Also found the medal portion of the app.

Suros is better. But epilogue is good if you want to equip an exotic secondary or heavy. The thing about epilogue is low impact, poor stability, and extremely high rate of fire. So it works good if you can keep her pointed at the bad guys but that can be challenging.

It's good for the Raid and Nightfalls with Void Burn but for anything else you might as well use the Suros Regime or Hawkmoon. Atheon's Epilogue has too much rate of fire and not enough stability.

I don't use it in the Raid at all, but I upgraded mine for strikes that have Void burn.

Going from a Titan main to a hunter alt feels weird. They move so fast. The gunslinger perks like chain of woe are also really good.

Got The Devil You Know from hitting vanguard 3 last week, got Hezen Vengeance and VoC from the raid on Tuesday, and got Hawkmoon as a reward for finishing a tiger strike today. I went from having only blue primaries to having too many viable primaries that all need to be leveled. The humanity...

Going from fully upgraded Titan boost to a level 6 warlock and his "glide" is painful and has definitely caused me to die from jumps I think i can make

Does anyone have a hard raid save at the Gorgons so I can get the two chests? I have one at Atheon, but I shared it with someone who kicked me out of the party and then cheesed it himself. I am never going to beat him. Someone help me out, please.

I know how you feel, it's difficult to transition to Warlock after playing Titan. The jumping puzzle was so embarrassing yesterday on my Warlock.

I always use the cheat over on the right side. I've still yet to attempt the jumping puzzle straight up.

Full stability with big hit to range and then range upgrade for Regime or tiny upgrade to stability and tiny hit to range and higher impact with high caliber rounds?

How do you upgrade your Regime for PvP.

Ultimate PvP trollage:

  1. Fatebringer
  2. Explosive Rounds
  3. Spam to enemies

Screen shake / knockback is so insane that enemies can't literally fire back before you have killed them with 3-4 super fast body shots. It's fucking insane.

Also it's fun when you wonder why Crucible once again is total garbagio to only realise that game has forced you into MURICAAA! lobby with insane latency to them. FFS game!

I found my Warlock can just glide right across the jumping puzzle. There's some almost lethal fall damage, but she's survived both times now. Will see how well my Titan does when I raid with her.

Titan can glide across as well if you throw in a striker dash and feather the jetpack.

Wait... You don't jump on any disappearing platforms at all? I need to try that.. Didn't think it would work...

Linear compensator and Hammer Forged. Personally, don't need extra stability but the range boost is great. Can pull off precision shots just fine.

Yup me too, hunter can triple jump it with ease aswell.

My Titan just used super lol.

Nah, ever since I found out I can just triple jump across with my Hunter I don't bother with it anymore.

You have to go down two platforms to the right and jump from there.

Warlock got raid helm which means level 30 is essentially lock for it. That makes it my second Guardian to make it to 30. Now all that's left is my Hunter.
I also got Praedyth's Timepiece.
