lol commodore 64 had a game called stroker 64, time for a remake by the looks. It's a Nice Game, waiting for second part Stroke the Pussy...
More evidence that abusing trophies and achievements in apps like these are a blight on gaming.
Getting 100% in a game you like is a great feeling, even more so if it required effort. Buying something you don't care about just to get 100% within 5 minutes is addiction territory, but whatever floats your boat.
Some do, some don’t.Literally can count how many I've seen since Sony and Steam decided to implement options to turn them off. Crazy how at one point people were saying Achievements/Trophies counted as "replay value"
I'm more surprised there are people who'd go that far for trophies.
Why? Just, why?
I find it strange that people care at all about trophies and archievements in games. I try to turn all that shit off so I don't get any pop-ups or see any archievements. But it's getting hard to avoid all that crap.
It's refreshing playing a game on the Switch now and then, as they still don't focus on this. Probably not for long though
The real question is what sort of person is actually looking at people's trophies in the first placeWeird. What value does the trophy have once people look at your stats and see where they came from?![]()
Hardere then I thought! Sometimes stuff keep poppingHow is it hard to avoid if you've turned off the notifications?
Funny thing is, I remember Sony saying they'll deal with this and not allow almost auto-pop platinum games on their storefront. Wonder what happenedScrolling through all this shit is a pain in the ass.
$$$$ for Sony. That's all corporations care about. They are not banned in PSN store yet, just won't be showing on the front page as new released games anymore. That's why I said Sony needs to act stronger.
People on Steam don't seem to care much about achievements. Probably because they can be hacked with SAM in about 30 seconds.
I mean when a grift is this stupid and people still get gifted then good on them.
This wasn't abusive to anyone, just stupidity
Yep. I feel the same way about achievements. Those DLC trophies can break my heart when I don't see 100%I like achievements in a Stockholm-syndrome kind of way. I go out of my way to get them although I'm fully aware it's an utter waste of time and energy.
