Will go for Necromancer btw. Never played this class. Aiming for a Blood Wave build eventually because it looks really cool and it seems quite good this season.
Damn, evade spiritborn getting nerfed later this week. Oh well, I had my fun.
Perhaps but I think it'll be time to move on. The best thing about the build was the pure speed and zooming around. The damage was good but not the best compared to other spiritborn builds.Rax says it will be fine. He's supposedly making a video to show why.
So, I’m at Paragon Level 21 and don’t know much about the Paragon skill tree or what to do with my weapons and armor now. Haven’t played a season for this long tbh in this game.
Any suggestions or guides that you’d all recommend? Some of this stuff is convoluted to the point I feel I’m a tad in over my head.
Spiritborn char. Really enjoying the poison build I have, but willing to change it up a bit.

What level are you? You have paragon and glyps yet?Can any fellow sorcerers help me out here. Last time I played was season of loot reborn. In it as a mage I would just …..idk never run out of mana. I only used one skill (incinerate) and just destroyed everything.
Now….if my mana gets too low it looks like my guy catches fire and that keeps the mana from regenerating. What is that bs all about and can I spec my way out of that. Is it a mage nerf?
Not yet, but this is definitely a new thing, if I hold down my core skill until mana is at zero, I get penalized for doing thatWhat level are you? You have paragon and glyps yet?
Have you checked the aspects on your gear? Not yet, but this is definitely a new thing, if I hold down my core skill until mana is at zero, I get penalized for doing that
You see the mana go up and then go down, go up and go down and then finally start to refresh normally.
While that is happening, red flames seem to be surrounding my character.
Audio problems fixed with patch 2.0.3. Performance also improved a lot. Now it's time to enjoy it.Audio distorted after vessel of hatred patch
The audio is really bad distorted after the launch of vessel of hatred. Wasn’t like this before launch of dlc. Really bad in the towns and while on the horse and when there are lots of mobs the sound gets really bad and cuts in and out.us.forums.blizzard.com
Audio problems got acknowledged by blizzard and aren't PS4 exclusive. I hope they fix it fast.
Change it now. If it’s trivial, ramp it up to the next difficulty level.Just a question, i'm level 30 Rouge, when should i change the difficulty level?
I'm on Normal right now, should i change to Hard or even Expert at this point?
I tried out the evade build and I was obliterating stuff in Pit 45 as a fresh 60 with mostly non-GA gear. The barrier and resolve multipliers are busted AF lol.
Yah, Obol vendor by far the most OP "activity" this season, especially if you invest ashes into the buff that gives you a chance to get 2 items per roll.If it isn’t been said, it really pays off farming the Obol vendor.
Once I hit 60, I quickly started to work my way up to pop WT1 & eventually WT2 through the Pits. Through this, you’ll accumulate enough Obols (since this is the best way to farm obols) to gamble them at the vendor and target farm for certain uniques. Some gamers have scored Mythics but your miles may vary.
And it works.
Got my Quill Volley Spiritborn in a great place now and only at Paragon level 95-ish. And that’s just solo play under 18 hours played. No problem running IH in WT2 either, few one shotters but I’ll say that’s user error.
***Helps to use Smoldering Ashes for increased dual drop rate at the vendor too.***
Necro: I initially went with pure blood wave where you chase the waves and collect the orbs. It got it hitting really hard, but again the method of executing the build is way too awkward. I switched to the Spirit Wave version where you auto-collect the blood orbs with blood lance and shoot out a ton of bone spirits...which improves the quality of life dramatically...but the problem with THAT build is that the spirits are very random, and you can't group enemies fast enough to really make the build shine. Feels again like another build variant that obvious works well in pit pushing, but for general content it's too awkward to feel like you're really contributing in a meaningful way because in hordes your spirits are just going everywhere, and yeah they nuke whatever they hit....but there's been times where I'm just spamming it trying to kill something and the spirits just don't want to cooperate. It's just not where it needs to be.
Just trying to find another build that feels good in all content, solo or in groups...and not just pit pushing. The hunt still continues.
I haven't yet, but I'm not enjoying what I'm reading about it.Have you tried Dance of Knives Rogue? It's pretty fun and very mobile. Good for speedfarming. With modest gear and level 46 glyphs, you can clear Pit 65s under 2 minutes.
I'd have to look and see if I can sneak that aspect into the build, but even still, I feel like the spirit travel time hurts you too much when you've got 2-3 other people around trying to blast content immediately.Incorporating the aspect that causes bone spirits to seek out bone prison and then explode twice inside a bone prison helps out with that a lot.
I haven't yet, but I'm not enjoying what I'm reading about it.
The little ritual you need to do before you start spinning, how you can't just move how you want and need to move in smooth curves...having to redo the entire buff ritual after you open a door or open a chest.
I know it wouldn't happen all the time, but it feels like a really awkward setup which has made me shy away from giving it a go.
There is room since you can use a legendary one hander and a focus now that Doombringer isn't BiS anymore. It's how I set mine up. I also use Trangoul's boots for more DPS and a larger bone prison.I'd have to look and see if I can sneak that aspect into the build, but even still, I feel like the spirit travel time hurts you too much when you've got 2-3 other people around trying to blast content immediately.
Like I'll be in an IH and there's an Aether Fiend spawning on my location. If I'm not standing directly on it when it pops, that 2-3 seconds of travel time is more than enough for someone to just swoop in, merc it, and move on.

Can I play my PS5 account/chars on PC if I buy the game on steam?
Cool, I see that steam has a bundle with the base game and expansion so that would work. I have never done crossplay before so I wasn't sure exactly how it works. This would be a good game to play on my PC while in some boring Teams meeting on my work laptop. =)Yes. Best thing about crossplay. But I do believe you'd have to also buy the DLC twice to play the new campaign and the Spiritborn on both platforms.
