Edia has announced Earnest Evans Collection for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Switch. It will include Telenet’s Wolf Team titles El Viento, Earnest Evans, and Anett Futatabi. A Makuake campaign seeking five million yen (approx. $32,456 USD) in crowdfunding is currently live. A release is expected by the end of June 2025 in Japan.

El Viento originally launched for Genesis on September 20, 1991 in Japan, followed by November 1991 in North America.

All three games are part of a trilogy.

I just played Anett Futatabi on my MegaCD2 a few months back. Unfortunately all the Evans games are extremely mediocre, but it was the period when Motoi Sakuraba did really good compositions. A lot is carried by the soundtracks for these games.

I hope the fans will get their money's worth and the project gets on black.

It's funny they would call this the Earnest Evans trilogy when it's the middle game and easily the worst of the three.

I do enjoy Wolfteam's games, they're underrated. I would like a compilation with Granada and Sol Feace/Sol Deace and whatever else makes sense.

I finished El Viento back in the day - but I just couldn't bear the wonky Ernest Evans character movements... (even though I'm a Indiana Jones type adventure fan.)
