T'Challa is Black Panther. Ffs, nobody wants Man-Ape (which is who M'Baku is in the comics) some random Dora Milaje or Killmonger (comics accurate or bad movie version) as the character? Shuri was BP for all of 5 minutes in the comics, and no one liked it!

Why? He would potentially be matched up against threats that can actually hurt him and not jumping around leveling cities, dodging tank blasts from the military in some Crackdown ripoff.

Dude, of all the legacy mantle characters one could try to claim “only THIS one gets to have the title!”, Black Panther might be the worst one to make that claim towards. It’s a mantle handed down throughout the generations of their nation, including T’Challa’s father.

Also, the very first detail was YOU choose the BP. So just pick T’Challa. Other players can pick whoever they want in their own playthrough and it won’t affect your playthrough whatsoever.

Easy - alien invasions on Earth, earth-based super threats.

Part of the "appeal" of the Hulk is levelling cities.

And to be clear, Crackdown and Prototype ripped off the Hulk. The latter was actually developed by the same studio whose previous game was Ultimate Destruction.

Perhaps you could only do one solo Hulk game before the worldbuilding/story makes it impossible to justify not just making an Avengers game or something like that. Isn't that what they're doing with Wolverine, leading into a pair of X-Men games?

The worldbuilding shit is whatever. The Green Lantern Corps has literally hundreds of GLs, but you just don't make a large scale, important solo Green Lantern project if the main guy isn't Hal Jordan.

T'Challa is the only successful solo BP.

It's giving Gotham Knights. That's the issue here. You can't possibly write the optimal story or characters/character dynamics in this way. They're not going to make 4 materially different AAA campaigns here.

Oh I didn't know about about Monolith and this studio is their successor. Although I'm not a Black Panther Marvel fan (I'm more into Daredevil), this definitely sounds interesting.
