Captain America

lmao, I CTRL+F'ed Captain America to see if anyone said that, but American police officers is good, damn good.

Spoilers for AoE
the villain is definitely gonna be Klaw. Secondly they mention "the great sell of Wakanda" or something similar, so I don't think that country will be that advanced. Not in current mcu anyway.
What is AoE? Not reading those spoilers.

I vote for Killmonger, because it would be interesting to have a movie where the good guy gets stomped by the antagonist. Of course chances are they'll make him a one-off forgettable villain who losses to BP.

I assume T'Challa will already be the Black Panther in the BP movie, yeah? His origin will probably be detailed in Civil War.

It'll probably be Klaw, but I have no clue what his motivation will be. If he's just another corrupt exec out to get the hero ala Stane, Cross, Hammer, and Vanko, then... eh. Been there, done that.

By this point in the MU films, I wanna see some more three dimensional villains. Melekith was just the worst. Kinda hoping that future villains have more depth. Like, I really hope that maybe Daniel Cross sees himself doing humanity a service no matter the cost in Ant-Man. Wouldn't mind some more grayness in the narrative.

ERMYGERD!
I hope future Marvel villains will be on par with Kingpin, best Marvel villain to date (haven't seen AoU).

They all start losing their mojo mid-show and become sympathetic/relatable + comically pathetic at the end, Kingpin is no exception.

I mean I don't disagree with this, but I didn't personally think Kingpin became "comically pathetic" by the end. I'm curious why you think this in regards to him.

In my opinion, Daredevil has given the best excuse for a villain to fail more so than any other superhero film to date.
Kingpin got lonely, and fucked up by falling in love, thus getting distracted.
Was a relatable, feasible excuse for him to blow it all.

Kingpin is the best villain and will be the benchmark by which all future MCU villains will be measured, including Ultron and Thanos.

Edited my response.

I agree with this, at least on an emotional-drive level for villians down the line.

Hell, I actually thought his
angry head crushing rampages
took away from the character. It was refreshing to see a villian be so relatable and yet utterly unlikable through the actions of those he employed. I didn't think he needed to be physically shown as evil, his lackeys did that for him.

Edited my response.

Still don't think Kingpin lost his Mojo mid-season. And I'm not sure if you are critiquing him for being emotionally sympathetic...because if you are, thats actually a good thing as far as screen writing goes. Hell, even The Killing Joke makes The Joker emotionally sympathetic.

But alas, I don't mean to de-rail this from being about Black Panther.

Malice can't be before Killmonger, and is really more of a secondary villain type (like Two-Face in TDK) because of her backstory. Man-Ape should be behind both Killmonger and White Wolf, but especially Killmonger.

Killmonger is #1 for me.

Actually, maybe #2, because Klaw is necessary.

This is some bullshit if true.

When I saw the name White Wolf and the picture of him executing a black guy, my first thought was that it was a KKK supervillain kinda thing (I know nothing of Black Panther).

People keep saying that spoiler is bullshit, or caving in to racists. As someone who knows nothing about Black Panther except that he's some kind of prince, can someone explain to me what the issue is? Is it with the potential choice of villain?

Well, Klaw is probably a given, but...

I'd say go the EMH route & do both Klaw & Man-Ape. The former will be established in Age of Ultron anyway, so might as well.

EMH was my first exposure to Man Ape. Issues be damned, I want a movie Man Ape.

Klaw only has one scene in Age of Ultron, but he's super memorable and weird, he's a natural fit for Black Panther's villain
especially when he lost his arm by the end of the scene. Might need a sonic replacement?

Man Ape is a definite HELL FUCKING NO.

That first post, tho... whooooooo.

Aww, really? I think Klaw's origins as Evil Imperial White Guy sort of make him less interesting (although the idea of him being deformed in a last-ditch attempt for revenge is what I liked about him.)

Man Ape seems like there would be a lot of room for more subtlety in the comics. I mean sure, he could just be a power-hungry crazed guy, but maybe he was someone who really thought that he needed to usurp the throne for the good of the people, or something, and slowly got corrupted from there? I'd also love something that focused on a more uniquely African story in feel with few external influences. Would make Black Panther appearing later in western setups more interesting.

Realistically, I have no idea who they'll use.

in all honesty if a police officer did attempt to do what they usually do to black people to Black Panther he would kick the ever loving shit outta them so hard racism would end
