PC version of Remake is butter. If you got the beef, go the PC route IMO.Should I just get them for the PS5 Pro or is PC better? I heard Remake stutters a lot on PC. If that's the case, I'd rather go for PS5.
Does the PS5 version have a mod that can turn Tifa into a Christmas elf? No?Should I get them for the PS5 Pro or is PC better?
Irrelevant. Ragnarok came out months ago and people are buying it because it's 20% off at the moment. They're not playing it right away.I should point out that God of War Ragnarok is currently 6th on Steam's Top Sellers... and has a player count right now of 3k.
Rebirth is 11th.
Just tried the demo again and it ran flawlessly for me. Does it get worse later on?No thanks, FFXVI was a horrible port.

Why would they play it right away? It's the first time it's on sale, so people are grabbing it before it goes back up.You're right in that's why it's at #6 right now... but for $47 I can't imagine not playing it right away.
FF XVI wasn't 70 euros. It was like $45.The magic of having 30% off on a 6 month old game instead of ff16 releasing a year after for 70€, of course people buy it then.
They never said anything like that for Remake tbf.Square one week after release: "we are very pleased with sales of the PC version!"
Square two weeks later: "the pc release did not meet our expectations."
Pretty essential to play Remake Intergrade.Do i need to play the first part of the FF7 remake or can i jump into this one without problems?
Yeah i meant the full package it was 70 with the DLC.Why would they play it right away? It's the first time it's on sale, so people are grabbing it before it goes back up.

But isn't FF7 Rebirth much better than Intergrade? They never said anything like that for Remake tbf.

By most accounts, and I'd say so. But you should definitely know what went on in Remake. You don't *have* to play it to do that, but I never recommend someone going their first round with a games story any other way than actually playing it.But isn't FF7 Rebirth much better than Intergrade?
If you don't care about story, then Rebirth is just fine. Pretty sure Rebirth has a story recap anyway.Do i need to play the first part of the FF7 remake or can i jump into this one without problems?
I assume he means the lack of widescreenJust tried the demo again and it ran flawlessly for me. Does it get worse later on?
You mean lack of ultrawide? Yeah, weird that it was advertised but still hasn't come. I think you can probably mod it, but since they didn't redo the cutscenes, it might have awkward elements out of camera.I assume he means the lack of widescreen
I think i'm gonna play Rebirth first and if i like it i still can play Intergrade after that.If you don't care about story, then Rebirth is just fine. Pretty sure Rebirth has a story recap anyway.

I don't care that the game runs fine for you. I am not giving my money to SE.Irrelevant. Ragnarok came out months ago and people are buying it because it's 20% off at the moment. They're not playing it right away.

Was more curious about how the game runs in the later stages, but thanks for sharing your grudge against SE.I don't care that the game runs fine for you. I am not giving my money to SE.
FFXVI runs flawlessly on my PC (4070), the issue isn't the performance, it's the game itself... It's not a Final Fantasy.Irrelevant. Ragnarok came out months ago and people are buying it because it's 20% off at the moment. They're not playing it right away.

Oh, yeah, I bought it and refunded it after 4 hours. 2 hours in the demo+just under 2 hours in game. Got bored out of my mind and returned it. However, performance wasn't the issue, so I was wondering if it gets worse further into the game.FFXVI runs flawlessly on my PC (4070), the issue isn't the performance, it's the game itself... Do i need to play the first part of the FF7 remake or can i jump into this one without problems?
Highly inadvisable to skip part 1. You'll be missing some pretty major context.Do i need to play the first part of the FF7 remake or can i jump into this one without problems?
I have both platforms and Remake on both, most definitely going with the Steam version for Rebirth. Reason: modsShould I get them for the PS5 Pro or is PC better? I heard Remake stutters a lot on PC. If that's the case, I'd rather with for PS5.

There's a Twin Pack you could pick up.Do i need to play the first part of the FF7 remake or can i jump into this one without problems?
Exactly this. They are a joke.Square one week after release: "we are very pleased with sales of the PC version!"
