Watching the 3DS tourney right now at SDCC.

Can't see damage percentages in the matches. That kind of take me out of the matches. Oh well, the price of having the game on two separate screens I guess.

That makes sense. However, I saw Rosalina use Luma while in hitstun from the enemy throw. That's nuts. Whatever. I guess you'll have to throw Rosalina when Luma is away from her?

Depending on what kind of game this becomes, it could be severely debilitating for a character like DK or Icy's (i.e.) to be restricted in their grab use. We still don't know everything about how the Luma is controlled so I guess we'll see. Being able to control it in hitstun sound silly on the surface though

Asked the audience if the game should be tag or singles. Still not decided. Audience all wanted non tag. #tekken7

my god they probably don't even have a playable build, only that trailer, if even that wasn't decided yet...

lol @ kdramas saying this shit will be out in 2014

Awesome. So basically SDCC is currently offering me the red-headed step child of a game I'm already struggling to give two shits about.

What made you think that?

The Harada tweet said Japanese players would get a chance to try out Tekken 7 soon so I assumed it was at least in some playable form already.

edit: Appleseed characters in Tekken? That could be interesting I suppose.

Wow the Tekken SDCC panel was beyond useless, it seems. Why even bother announcing the game if it's that early?

I guess I'll be heading to Round One soon...

Tekken and some AE. I don't think Ultra is in the US arcades yet
Arcade USF4 requires Nesica connectivity, and I don't think even Round 1 has the ability to run those internationally (even if they have connectivity to Sega's, Namco's and Konami's arcade networks in the US).

I don't think I've ever heard of a NESICA system operating outside of Japan. Or Sega's ALL.net one DOA5/UNI/Xrd are on, for that matter.

This Nintendo stream is so unfocused versus their E3 stream. Also, the FFA stuff is making it too hard to judge what's really good with certain aspects of the game.

Then again this is the E3 build being used once more so I guess there'd be no big changes to how it was.

Yeah, once Ultra was out we basically stopped using the cabs we had for AE 2012 and put other things on it like bullet hells or KoF games. No hope for anything on those online systems.

Yeah, not enjoying it too much tbh.

It's a new build isn't it?

Or at least one with every character instead of a leaving some in either-or.

Twitch chat was killing me saying "Wavedashing Confirmed" when they were maneuvering Luigi sliding in the underground stage.

Nah, the E3 build of Smash 3DS had some different characters in it versus the E3 Wii U build. Also it's confirmed that this is just the E3 build trotted out again.
