Well I asked B-boy Tekken (custom panel / lexan maker) on SRK if he does international shipping, but he doesn't yet. Kind of stumped as to how I can get a hold of a hitbox arcade stick or mod in the UK, without having to pay through the teeth for it.

speaking of NRS games i bought injustice during the sale because i've heard good things recently and a bunch of threads popped up mentioning how fun it was and easy it was to learn, even for non FG players but holy fuck what a confusing game. its my first nrs game and maybe im a fool but so many things about the system seem incredibly strange, like the opponent being in 3 seconds of what appears to be hitstun but the next move not combo-ing etc. movement seems pretty stilted too, like walkspeeds are incredibly slow. thinking of just giving up on it.

The walk speed thing is just Injustice. MK9 had fast walk speeds. It depends on who you play. On average they're slow but some characters can walk at a decent pace. Some actually walk back super fast. Then there's some like Scorpion and Zod who can barely move at all, they're like worse than Makoto. The neutral game takes a long time to get used to. Everyone walks to their ideal range then has to take the risk of jumping, dashing or using a long range normal or special move. Most characters have a conditioning tool to stop the opponent from walking back to set up that guess. It's not just you, everyone has trouble with it at first.

and yeah some hit reactions leave the opponent visually staggering but they can still block. Common in 3D fighting games.
