Reminder, might want to turn off shout/yell on your main chat to avoid random spoilers until you're done with the story, if you care about it.
How do I do that? And do people really do that on XIV?
I don't remember it being too bad during the Heavensward launch, but better safe than sorry I guess.

The DRK number is kind of misleading there, looking at the potency/GCD:
DRK: 440.5
WAR: 458.74
PLD: 541.37
The DRK sheet is an extra 14-ish seconds of damage, so their total climbs higher despite lower potency/GCD.
Be curious to see what the end potencies are, and how often Holy Spirit gets interrupted; unless the trait blocks everything from interrupting (which it sounds like it might, but would be the most obvious first-wave nerf) they're probably set to suffer the most from having to actually tank, which will be a thing.

Yes, we've got that code. I just hope it comes in time in the course of the release week cause we're in Germany and I think it will be send from UK.
First time we pre ordered a game in that store and we have no idea how good they are with punctuality.
I don't really recall anyone doing it to be honest. As for how to do it, click the little setting gear under the chat window, a whole new world of things to toggle on and off in there.
Oh is it the same way I disabled the Novice Chat stuff after it got too annoying?

Don't quote me but I think it's two full rotations of self-buffs hence why one is longer than the other.

The biggest HW MSQ spoiler I remember was the
title; it was amazing because they dropped it on people who would then have to go back and rerun the dungeon for EXP thereby spoiling anyone they matched up with running it the first time.

obligatory potency etc. etc. I think? But yeah, it'll be an interesting thing to re-simulate when we get final values. There's some oddities in them all (how do Berserk break points function going forward, will Dark Passenger get tweaked to not be a loss, Delirium adjustments to be more exciting) but it's hard to argue PLD's potency lead when Spirit's Within / Circle of Scorn retained their damages.

Never have seen it myself, but I didn't play HW at launch.
I mostly enjoy the irony in their massive secrecy of all things plot, story, and other things at their whim combined with that slip up.

I keep reading this and can't believe it's real. It just sounds SO CRAZY. Like, if you asked me what parts of the DRG rotation I felt uncomfortable with, and if I had no regards for balance how I would improve the DRG skills, this is probably close to what I would have come up with. Lol.
I don't get it, what's this about? I heard rumblings about this title spoiler but I don't see how it is obvious? What's the Japanese title?

I'm already looking forward to fighting the other 177,375,773 Samurais for queues instead of peacefully playing WAR.
I'm also looking forward to the return of the PLD/PLD raid group meta, even with the limit break nerf. Not that I care much about that anymore but it will bring back nice memories of 2.0 era ARR.

great way to end HWAah... I told myself I shouldn't get back into the MMO, but the hype... I really want to see the story through. I don't particularly enjoy the crazy amount of players in the same spot you get in the first days of an expansion though, so might wait a little bit.
I stopped subbing around 3.3 and only came back on free gametime, so there's still quite a few things I never did in HW... I havent completed the Warring Triad stuff, haven't done the HW Hildibrands, and haven't seen the Palace of the Dead or Aquapolis.
I can't believe I managed to dodge that one, I disabled chats but didn't think of titles.
3.0 had a pretty dumb one too with
