First teaser for the ‘CONCORD’ episode of the video game anthology series ‘SECRET LEVEL’

what is it with the obsession for purple colour tones with these people?

Watching the 40k teaser right after feels like washing my eyes with cool soothing water after that garbage concord "thing".

I love how Sony and Firewalk put so much effort and budget into Secret Level and those vignettes, while the game itself had no SP campaign, no offline bot mode, and barebones MP modes. But at least it had really good animations and lip synching..... which is more skin deep graphics and not gameplay.

It's like a store opening up an expensive showroom that took forever to build, but got no good products to sell.

They basically counted the eggs before they hatched. Same with Unknown 9.

Wow didn't think we'd see UT get any mainstream exposure. Definately in it for 40K and UT.

Imagine instead of waste 250$ millions on this shit, give 1$ million to 250 indie studios to make their game. I bet we would had at least 10 new masterpieces and 30 awesome games now.
We would have already had a Fumito Ueda game, Gravity rush 3 and Bloodborne 2...

I hate you Concord!

It was a dumb idea to commission a short that releases so soon after a new IP drops. You'd have to be really confident in your product and given that this is all now dead money as far as the IP goes, hopefully Sony is looking into where the points of failures were.

Right now it's just a Love, Death and Robots episode.

Still 210 million wasted....
The question is if any of those hypothetical project saw any revenues and, more importantly, profits. With the potential of those few successful projects becoming a franchise eventually. As opposed to this singular project that saw no returns whatsoever with no future ahead of it.

"Don't put your eggs into one basket" and all that jazz.
