They needed bolsetring at CB. That much was obvious, and has been for a long time. They should have stopped playing Xavi every minute of every game, and increased Thiago's gametime.

Neymar is making less and less sense. The way he plays, the holes in his game, he's clearly a project. But you don't spend £60m+ to the detriment of the needed improvements in other areas on projects. Stupid signing, only did it in the misguided desperation to act like they'd beaten Madrid to the punch.

Not helped by Messi struggling badly to stay fit, and regain consistency since he came back.

And Sanchez on the bench? The fuck is that all about? Unless Chile's recent friendly was played on Neptune, he should be starting every game.
