Wenger voted World Coach of the Decade
Arsène Wenger has been named World Coach of the Decade.
The Arsenal manager edged out Sir Alex Ferguson and Jose Mourinho to take the award handed out by the International Federation of Football History & Statistics.
The organisation conducts an annual Coach of the Year vote. Results from the last 10 polls were aggregated to find an overall winner. Wenger ended up with 156 points, Ferguson 148 and Mourinho 135.
The Frenchman will receive a certificate and golden trophy at the World Football Gala later this year.

Ugh, what is the point in playing Hart and Cole for a friendly. Firster and Shaw should have been given 90 mins. Also Barkley should be starting for us, incredibly well suited to international footy. Lallana and Ox should be ahead of certain people also.

Should probably not trust the 7-11 security cameras quite so much
CAN'T WAIT to play Spurs, we always do well vs these shite mid-table PL sides.

It's going to be a good game, Benfica v Tottenham has a real old-school feel.

Shouldn't the coach of the decade have won something...during the decade?

If this friendly was after the world cup I would agree with you. But it's not. There are not many more matches to play between now & Brazil and playing people like Shaw would be the wrong decision.

Players like Shaw and Barkley need international experience and Woy needs to see how they gell with other players.

So glad Eriksen isn't in the Denmark squad. I can't believe he was even considered given his injury.

Lots of renewed scuttlebutt about Dzeko to Inter this summer for £15-18m. That'd be a pretty good return given he'll be down to 1 year left on his deal. I'm all for it personally.

I agree that Shaw should play at some point but not for 90 mins. If Cole and Baines both get injured Woy will probably play Phil Jones or someone like that at left back. Barkley should get some time to but I don't know who he should replace.

Netherlands line-up:
Cillessen
VD Wiel, Vlaar, Martins Indi, Blind
Strootman, Clasie, Sneijder
Boëtius, RVP, Promes

Some experimenting with Indi, Clasie, Boëtius and Promes. I'm hoping VD Wiel is going to get the nod over Janmaat at the WC.

2nd fastest player in the England squad actually lol

------

That would've been an amazing goal by Romania. Played some Bayern-esque football, a Moyes-esque cross, but a Welbeck finish.

Lol whaaaaat

No way is he faster than Sterling and Sturridge

I think tonight's line up is the most attacking Liverpool side that Woy has selected as a manager.

Haha, one of the more skillful as well. He hated those fancy Dan operators.

And if Cole is injured for the world cup? Knowing what Shaw can do in an England shirt is essential especially since Cole hasn't been playing and shouldn't have been called up in the first place. Same with Hart, if he gets an injury or gets dropped we should know our backups are capable. On form alone they should be picked, which is or should be the most important factor.
