If the higher power's called poor finishing then I agree. It can probably be summed up more succinctly as anxiety. Too many times you shanked the ball wide or took a touch too many, and it cost you. When Chelsea had their opportunities they took them, simple.
As a Liverpool fan I know all about feeling unlucky, but at the end of the day that doesn't disqualify the result, just ask Kenny Dalglish.
Prior to yesterday, this is what most Chelsea fans felt like watching the Champions League. Made the win that much sweeter.

Am reading a filthily stupid article by Claud Cockburn (Olivia Wilde's grandfather, Messi) about literary bestsellers. He admits that the middle class were the principal buyers and borrowers of books in the early 20th century, and then, barely drawing a breath, says that bestsellers "really are a mirror of the mind and face of an age". So basically the identity of a culture can be condensed in the habits of the middle class. I've not read anything as fucking stupid in a while, and I've read every post of Footy-GAF recently.

Bayern's four stars are because of leagues titles (20=4), right now we have 21 titles, we need 30 titles to add one more star.

The CWC crest is a Badge that they print on. I got mine in the Barca megastore. I assume Chelsea will be the same. I think ill hold off too until this star thing is sorted out.

Personally I think adding stars to the team crest is pretty tacky. The crest is the crest regardless of honours you have won. Pretty cheap IMO (sorry Juve-GAF).
