That was Noble's role for much of last season, and if Sam persists with a 3-man midfield I'd expect Noble to stay in that role this season - I'd guess that Diame has been brought in as a better attacking option to Collison, who showed a return to form in the latter half of last season, but could definitely struggle back in the Premiership. Besides, it'd be pretty foolish to squander a player with such obvious flair.
So far, our starting eleven will probably look like;

Cole - MaynardAlthough we really need a proper left back - Danny Potts is too inexperienced, while Demel, who is right sided, has filled in there but hasn't entirely impressed so far. Also, I'd expect us to go for another striker - I'm not sure if Maynard will cut it, while if we keep Baldock he'll probably go out on loan, as a full season in the championship would do him good and he didn't get much opportunity to play last season.
I´m loving Breaking Bad and Justified, they sit right up there with Person of Interest and Game of Thrones.
Actually, i´m enjoying Justified the most, it´s refreshing and fun to see all the crazy shit that goes on in the south.

Not really, he got 2 goals in 14 games for us, 8 in 26 at Bristol - he always seemed like he was at odds with the style of football Sam wanted us to play, and he probably would have been much more comfortable in a traditional 4-4-2 set-up, which is part of the reason I'd expect us to go in for another striker.
And yeah, I'm strangely confidant - not so much in that the football we'll be playing will always be attacking minded and entertaining, but rather in that I think Sam has what it takes to keep us up and bring some much needed stability. And either way, I'm just damn excited for us to be back in the Premiership this season
Yeah, we've done well so far. 2 players with Premier League experience and England caps, and 2 younger lads with plenty to prove. All on free transfers. We are pretty much sorted defensivly now so im excited to see who we sign going forward.
I still expect a tough season. Seeing the fixtures on Monday reminded me how tough this league is. There's no easy games. Id be satisfied with consolidation in all honesty, but were a decent side so with form, some more shrewd signings and some luck we could do more.

Went to Zakynthos, had to shit in bags for two weeks. It was truly awful. Plumbing in that place was terrible.

Muntari out for injury for the next 5/6 months.
I don't know what to say. We haven't even started next season ffs, we already have a key player (oh god, our midfield is crap if Muntari is that important to us) unavailable until Christmas.

Good lads, should be class to see your teams with a new manager. I'm excited for the first game under Rodgers. I was at Kenny's first game at Anfield, which was coincidentally a Merseyside derby and it was fucking class; even more so because we didn't lose to Everton which, after life under Hodgson, seemed like a miracle.
About to have one of my favourite teas from the chippy: egg fried rice with a portion of curry sauce poured over it. Fucking heaven.
