FC Utrecht is doing really well this season. What place did they end up last year? 11th?

Yeah, I don't think that betting on friendlies is a good idea. Too unpredictable.

And nobody gave us a chance for this season, but in the meantime we're in 6th place, with as much points as Ajax and Feyenoord.
In the end I just hope for a European Playoff spot, then we did good.

I thought they were in for a great season last year with all the young talent and Koeman at the helm, but it just completely collapsed pretty early on. Really surprised with Vitesse and Utrecht this season. It's nice to see other teams that high up on the table besides the regular 5.

Last year was terrible, all the good players got sold (van Wolfswinkel, Mertens, Silberbauer f.e.), and they got replaced with a bunch of overpriced foreigners who all needed a lot of time to fit in, while expectations were skyhigh due to all the money invested.
This year there was no pressure at all, nobody expected anything, and suddenly players like Tommy Oar, Adam Sarota and Anouar Kali rise up to be good Eredivisie players.
And we have a great goalie this year, that also helps a lot.

66% passing accuracy from Spurs yesterday. That's why we lost the game. City didn't have to work to get the ball back and they stayed lively because of that. Sigurdsson, Falque or Carroll have to come in for Dempsey, he is not the right player for the role behind the striker. He'd be better as a squad player.
He looks out of place at the moment. To be fair he generally has a slow start to every season. He's best used as the forward most player IMO.

Roberts seem to hate Suarez. On MOTD towards the end he seem to imply that Suarez caused the injury to JT on purpose, but at the same time he failed to mention that it was Ramires who pushed him. Also he had a dig at Suarez because he pushed Ramires off him for the goal but ignored how Cahill was holding on to Wisdom as if he was his girlfriend.
How can you guys plays FM, every time I started playing a manager game, I hardy can stop, it's like, I'm going to play 30 minutes and then 4 hours have passed, not that I have a social life or anything, but they are very compelling games, I still remember doing this with LMA Manager on PS2. lol
