Pellegrini played with two strikers in Dzeko and Aguero but their formation was more like a 4-3-3 than a 4-4-2 because Jesus Navas hugged the right flank and stayed almost as far forward, and they did not have an equivalent to Navas on the left - David Silva was more often found behind the front two.

City's passing was quicker, and more accurate than we saw under Mancini last year - at 90% their pass completion was better than all but one of their 38 Premier League games last season.

Dzeko's touches

In terms of his hold-up play, link-play, power and movement, it was the best all-round display I have seen from him since he scored four times against Tottenham at the start of the 2011-12 season.

He did not score against Newcastle - and he could have had a hat-trick - but he did everything else. He covered so much ground, set up two of City's goals and his eight shots were more than he managed in any top flight game last season.

His pass completion was also better (81.48% against Newcastle compared to 69.22% last season) while he won 53.85% of challenges (39.38% last season).

He did have a couple of shots but they were desperation hits after the real chance had gone and they didn't get beyond the first defender. He was pretty awful tbh he kept moving himself out of dangerous positions that you would want your striker to be in.

pretty sure he said he supported a winning team, so that excludes Arsenal.

edit: PS4 + FIFA is still cheaper, folks. keep that in mind when parting ways with your money.

I know, but the price difference is only around £25 now for a console + one game. I wouldn't say no to a kinnect for £25.

Everything has a value. Just because it isn't sold separately doesn't mean it's free. And you don't need to have Kinect plugged in for the machine to work.

but Kinect's value is £0, it's not sold separately, it's part of the machine. you don't have a stand-alone Kinect to determine it's value.

I have both the one and ps4 preordered on amazon not sure which to go for

I imagine fifa will be automatically included in existing pre orders?

Yeah, it will be. It will be a digital download. You'll get a code emailed to you or something.

Yup.

We'll find out PS4 release date later. MS have got a lot of games announced but not shown off much from them, Sony will (presumably/hopefully) show off more of their PS4 line-up today. Not to mention TGS is next month.

I suppose it depends how much you want Kinect, I think the tech looks cool but theres nothing on it currently that makes me think its worth it (Kinect Sports Rivals should have been a launch title and packed in).

I'd wait until TGS if I were you, no need to make a decision beforehand really.

it's optional now? didn't know that. then what's MS justification for including it? if it can be sold separately then it has a value, a number (£XX) attached to it. if people see that number they'll deduct it from the 500€ it costs now and make a Kinect-less box more attractive.

Yes it's optional, it was announced last week that it didn't need to be plugged in order for the machine to work. I have no idea why MS is bundling it with the machine. I'm not buying an Xbox One on day one and will wait in hope they introduce a Kinectless SKU. Actually I'm not buy either a PS4 or Xbone on day one. Going to wait for a price drop on both machines.

Disneyland kinect I really good

But the fact remains I would have much prefered it and played it more if it was a standard game
