I never thought there was any contact with the face, as all initial angles made it look like his foot was about head height and his thigh goes into him with the chest. But Mane's foot does get into the side of his face.

I still don't think it's a red. I'd expect every forward to go for that ball. There's mad inconsistency from the refs as you'll see that another 20 times this season before a player gets sent off.

It was clear when it happened. Didn't even need a replay. 50:50, leg above waist, contact made with head, studs shown, full pace, both jumping. Thats about as close to dangerous play in football you can get.
