Was Kendrick Lamar picking random shapes or was his Super Bowl halftime show deliberately being performed on a PlayStation DualShock controller?

Playstation continues to be a cultural phenomenon without it seems, having to do anything much.

However this halftime show left me a little conflicted. I love Kendrick of course - love PS too - and it seems Kendrick did this without Sony's direct involvement.... But there is a danger of over commercialisation - is this a shark jump too far?

Like even people who push non-PS platforms on you in discussions have to refer to it in comparisons etc.

It's a brand that's now very very hard to beat in people's minds, and that factor has been severely underestimated by a lot of its competitors over the years.
