80% of Rockstar's Veteran Developers Still Involved In GTA 6
GTA 6 is coming more than a decade after GTA 4, but a former Rockstar developer states that the teams behind both games will be similar.

GTA 6 has been in the works for many years, and Rockstar has changed in a number of ways since the launch of the last Grand Theft Auto entry. The team has also lost a few notable names, leading to concerns about GTA 6 as a result.
Fortunately, former Rockstar developer Obbe Vermeij has good news. He states that around 80% of the team that worked on GTA 4 is still part of Rockstar North.
Why it matters: Bleeding talent is a major problem in the gaming industry. For instance, a team like Rocksteady lost much of the veteran staff that had helped put it on the map during the days of Batman Arkham’s popularity.
I think this is huge, woeful talent retention was one of the key factors for the kingdom falls in recent years.
The whole thread is a Q&A session and worth reading, Obbe might not know any details about GTA 6 but his comments on the previous games' development are insightful.
