I got to episode/chapter 3 I think. Too much walking about but you do eventually unlock vehicles. Then there is too much fucking about in menus. It does some things quite well but I found it tedious. Tried going back to it but couldn’t bring myself to replay it and catch up to where I was.

As much as I don’t like Kojima, I thought DS was an interesting idea/concept and I like how weird and bizarre it is.

To be fair I don’t think I am totally against playing the sequel but definitely waiting for reviews and a good sale. Might be convinced to give it a shot.

I guess DS is either love or hate it.

i know people shit on AI images and some don't call it art but i'm having too much fun and want to create really nice images. i actually studied art but wasn't that great at it. i always wanted to be be able to draw/paint really well but it frustrated me. so i guess i'll stick to fake AI slop

Dude I hate American contractors so much. I almost got into a fight with a plumber yesterday after he fucking destroyed my bathroom and then started yelling at my fiancée. It took every bit of restraint to not punch his face. Instead I just fired him and kicked him out of my house.

But now I have a new plumber who is twice as expensive working on repairing all of the shit the previous guy fucked up.

And in related contractor news, yesterday was Mario day, and Universal Florida was supposed to have Super Nintendo World open for Universal staff members and family. But they had to cancel at the last minute because Nintendo disapproved of the quality of the work on the park. Apparently the contractors that Universal hired were also dogshit (cause that’s just American contractors for you) and Nintendo literally would not greenlight even a test run of the park.

Screw contractors man.

AI images are probably the future

i think so too. i mean it'll be quicker and cheaper for people to generate them for whatever they need. but i think artists who use physical mediums will stick around. it's like everything else.... things go digitally because it's more convenient and in some situations offer better quality.

when i was younger i wanted to get into photography. that'd have been a waste of time and money if i did. there is still a place for photography but AI has/will replace a lot of it.
