Nah man Scorsese follows a formula when it comes to his mob movies, he knows what works and they are fun excellent films but those Top Three is what stuck with me all these years

You can grab Ubisoft+ for a month, play the game for cheap, then cancel it before the next billing cycle

People say it's a true next gen experience. Perfect for putting your new GPU to the test

I wish I were this smart. But I like having a 'collection' on Steam. I enjoy achievements and see them as a kind of diary, if that makes sense

Now, though, it feels more like a diary of failures, of all the games I’ve dropped

Didn't make the movie any better

He was the only good part in that film and the rest was just boring trash. It sure wasn't Scorsese best work

There were a few things that stood out to me this watch. Random speed ups of scenes in the beginning. Lots of rapid cuts, poor audio design in some scenes. It definitely soured my appreciation of the movie.

Same sort of thing happened last time I watched the Departed too. It kind of knocked it down a peg or two.

Especially after watching more modern filmmakers like Denis Villenvue and Robert Eggers.

I prefer the Internal Affairs movies which is the Korean films. There are a total of three films and Scorsese adapted the whole three films into one movie for the Hollywood Adaptation of the films

Especially after watching more modern filmmakers like Denis Villenvue and Robert Eggers.

Denis Villeneuve is a hit or miss Director for me. I loved Dune Part One, Dune Part Two and Sicario. I thought the enemy was good too. The rest I hated

Robert Eggers, I have loved all his work. Yes they do have issues but I feel like he's one of the few directors making good movies nowadays

The only thing I liked about that movie was the sex scene with Ana de Armas/Mackenzie Davis. But that's due to chuckling at how the couple in front of me was leaving during that scene since the guy Girlfriend looked mad and than they came back five minutes later and the guy really wanted to watch the movie. I felt bad for him

I did read the Shutter Island book before I saw the movie. Let's just say I figured out the twist 20 pages into that book. So for me I just found it predictable
