I wouldn’t rely on this at all. Saying that you haven't seen that in a long time is an understatement, I don't think it ever happened since the 4080 is on average 50% faster than the 6800, probably more at 4K.

Also, why is the 3080 Ti equal to the 4080 and the 3080 merely 3fps behind?

Nah, something is wrong with those benchmarks.

The game looks good and runs really good on my PC in 4K Ultrawide with DLDSR, but you can definitly see that its PS4 core, some assets are not up to date, the geometric complexity or shadows are pretty simple, but I only played less than an hour and maybe it will be better outside the snow area.

Nah, something is wrong with those benchmarks.
Because there was a significant difference between the 3080 TI vs non-TI version. Ampere didn't scale much with more shader.

This doesn't answer the question. The 3080, 3080 Ti, and 4080 are all within 8fps of each other. Regardless, this data is utter bullshit.



Here it is at max settings, 4K DLAA, and getting 70fps+.


Lines up nicely with NVIDIA's data.

Flashless at the Golden Globes

I've never taken GameGPU very seriously because I think that at best they interpolate their results somehow.

In their graphs you're able to select:
1) 3 resolutions
2) Like 30 GPUs
3) Like 30 CPUs

No way they actually do a test matrix that big, there what, like a million combinations?

Performance is great, with 4070Ti and 7800X3D and gsync with max framerate at 97FPS, it rarely drops below playing with Ultra settings with DSS set to quality.

Getting around 100-115 on 5800X3D w/o FG. Did you download the latest Nvidia drivers?#

Currently have framegen on as well and HDR on the OLED. Performance is great and it looks fantastic.

Absolutely not. Svartelfheim is the best looking. Wonderful art direction there and there's also a breathtaking section in Vanehiem
Yeah, it’s one of the dullest areas lol. Just piles of snow. Vanaheim, Alfheim, Svartalfheim, and Asgard all look way better.

Yes, on latest Nvidia driver, i should have stated i have the game capped at 97FPS for GSync as monitor only does 100Hz without overdrive(120 with but for VA panel i dont like the overdrive artifacts on the panel). Very happy with the performance so far.

Whatever excuse was given to not include one in this game is utter BS.
If i remember for either GoW1 or Spiderman 1 they said for FOV slider/ultrawide they had to red some of the cutscenes as characters who walked off screen they would just have the in a static location just off view and had to redo that, could be the same case here and they couldn't be bothered with the extra work that might be needed.
