Well regardless of all that it doesn't really matter what trash shows they've made because with Sony involved they wont be allowed to just do what they want. If they try to deviate from the story to much Sony wont allow it. It's actually better to look at Sonys track record with thier game IPs and judge from there.

GT IMO was great.
TLOU was great.
Uncharted was good.

They have a great track record and I doubt they are going to let someone else ruin that by just letting them do what they want.

As noted above, Rafe Judkins was the showrunner for The Wheel of Time. That adaptation was pure garbage. It totally disrespected the source material, cut large swaths out, injected massive amounts of race swapping and lgbt junk, killed off characters in book two who survive book 14 iirc (definitely book 9, but pretty sure they live). They made Moiraine, a fairly important character get Stilled (unable to use magic) and lesbian with the Amyrlin (her friend, not lover). This is just the tip... If you like the source material, you will probably hate what Rafe Judkins makes.

Wheel Of Time was a fucking disaster on every conceivable level. Let's hope Amazon have come to their senses, and aren't going to let hacks like Judkins continue to bastardise IP for the sake of political agenda.

Doesn't matter how many games they have to choose from. The problem will be that they'll take the entire premise from the last games - boo hoo I'm such a bad Daddy - that the other 90% or the lore of carnage will be washed down the sink. He could be the new Conan the barbarian. But, probably end up more like Conan O'brien.

For fuck's sale, why can't people just say what they mean these days? They weren't happy with the scripts for whatever reason and are looking for other writers to provide another take on the material

I'm calling it:
It's going to focus on when Kratos first arrives in the Norse world.
It will focus on how Kratos meets Laufey and how their relationship develops.
Laufey will be as much or more of a focus than Kratos.
Laufey is not only as good as Kratos in a fight but also smarter, wiser and kinder.
She is an attractive redhead in the games which means that by Hollywood law she needs to get made ethnically diverse.
