During its Ray Tracing Technology Deep Dive video, Intel confirmed that Gotham Knights will have ray tracing effects on PC. According to Tom Petersen, PC gamers can expect enhanced reflections and soft shadows.

Furthermore, Gotham Knights will support Intel’s AI-upscaling tech, XeSS. However, there is no word yet on whether the game will also support NVIDIA’s DLSS or AMD’s FSR 2.0.

Gotham Knights will feature an all-new original story where an expansive, criminal underworld has swept through the streets of Gotham City. Players will take control of the Batman Family. This means that you can play as Batgirl, Nightwing, Red Hood and Robin. From solving mysteries that connect the darkest chapters in the city’s history to defeating notorious villains in epic confrontations, players will confront an array of challenges as they evolve into their own version of the Dark Knight.

This would be a good test case to see if dp4a is a viable path for their XeSS solution on console*. If performance is adequate, they could offer XeSS as an alternative to FSR. Although I suppose it's possible the developers have already tested it out and found it to be too slow.

(*Possibly Xbox Series only, since it's unknown if PS5 includes the dp4a instruction)

I’m kind of annoyed that it doesn’t say it’s for consoles. It’s been such bullshit remembering that the new consoles can leverage ray tracing (reflections specifically ) but only one game or two leverage it. The old versions were even canned, so what current gen features is this game using on consoles?
