Gran Turismo 7 |OT| Hitting the Apex

How does everyone feel about the Physics update from the last update?

For me it has made alot of cars drivable again.

One example is the beautiful Porsche 918 this car is one of my all time favorites but I hated to drive it in GT7 cause it felt like you was driving a truck with 887HP.

But now its a delight to drive.:messenger_grinning:

This game is way too addictive!! Today I was planning to play another game, I was ok let's just do a small race then switch game.... 3 hours later still on GT7... Already pass midnight and time to go sleep lol

I'll have to try it again. When I first bought it, I was disappointed. It's supposed to be one of the best Hypercar but drove so poorly.

After trying many cars I finally was able to finish 1st in Tokyo 600 and it's with the Porsche gtr3 97. It also happened to be one of my favorite car in the game, it's so great. Didn't got bonus credit tho until the 3 rd try, it's crazy second try I didn't even felt I hit someone much , I thought I did things correct but nope lol, I hit some cars but it was small hit but guess it wasn't that small. It's the hardest thing about it actually not hitting isn't that hard, but they can hit you too like blind people lol



Cool race, Tokyo is my favorite track and in the game. It looks so insane beautiful, in rain it's mibdblowing and badass at night. Podi should add more tracks that has this cool Urban style.

Yeah I alos like Tokyo its where I go to test drive a new tune or just do laps for fun.

But my favorite Tokyo track is SSR 7 from GT6 imagine that track in gt7 with rain and day and night time.

My favorite track ever from any racing sadly its stuck in GT5/6

Oh this looks cool. GT6 is the only one I barely played, my PS3 stopped working soon after. I recently watched a review of it there was also some kind of Ayrton Senna kinda homage mode in it that sounded neat.
 
I'm hesitating if I buy F50? Is it good.

I used lot F40 in gt sport it was one of my favorite car in that game. Don't know about F50.
 
So bought the F50, it's totally worth it, not only it looks amazing design wise, but also very fun to drive, just little con it doesn't have rear cockpit( not huge deal tho), can't wait for F40.

I wish they would have it in the code to omit these when you already have the cars in select invitations.

It seems that whenever I see this in the roulette, 75% of the time or more, it will land on it.

Remember to Buy 2 F40 since you can swap the Enzo engine into the F40.

I was able to get all the cars when they gave out the invites for free for every single car as an apology around launch window.

Otherwise, I would probably be in your boat now.
 
Got the Lumborgini Diablo from used cars shop, one of my favorite Lumborgini. Always remember first time I seen it was in Eminem music video

F1 finally shows up and I been holding 100M for the last 3 months hoping the F1 appears in Base Silver to complete my F1 collection.

I didn't expect an update this early. I flushed my ticket that had Pagani invite in it. Maybe should have keep it, but anyway lol
 
I can't believe I still don't have the platinum trophy for this game (400+ hours)! I need one remaining legendary car (Ferrari 330), and I also need to complete a few other bits and bobs, such as a specific photo.

I have 12 million credits so it shouldn't take me too long to save up for the legendary car, but then again, I'll probably end up splurging some of it on the unexpected new motors next week. Certainly an interesting mix of vehicles.
 
I dont understand why they don't add Monaco and Seattle tracks, I thought they were some of the most iconic tracks in the franchise
 
I miss some of the city tracks like Tokyo R246, Rome and Seattle. Those would look amazing in GT7.

Wasn't there a London track too?

As for the Time Trails they start tomorrow.

Rules the TT runs for 1 week Mon - Sun.
A screenshot of your time (see below) is require or you will be DQ.

Each Car must be 100% Stock No mods no color change, No rims, No Tunes.
If you Car doesn't Match my car PP you will be DQ.
At the end of the week the Driver with the Best time Wins a $10 PSN (US) Gift Card which I will send VIA DM.

Track - Sardegna Layout A

Conditions - Dusk Time.

Settings - Tire Wear and Fuel X1
Grip Reduction Off Track - Set to Real
 
This car in insane. Bought not expecting too much from driving side but it's actually cool and you can clear lot of races with, some specially after some tuning

It's FUGLY, but damn it if doesn't look fun. Special Stage Route X would be great with that.
 
Do you guys think we will ever get another new track in GT7?

I'm really happy with the free additional content that PD have added to the game since launch, but I have to admit that I'd pay good money for a meaningful update, with new tracks, cups and a rags to riches career mode.

I feel like PD could make some serious DLC dough if they wanted to, but I also understand they wouldn't want to fragment the player base.
 
What I don't get is if PD is so incline in adding tracks then give us back a track maker or editor and let us have fun making new tracks base on a set location.

I swear they have taking so many great features and cars from us it pisses me off when I look at GT6 car and feature list.

Cars from GT6 that are missing just to name a few of my favroites.

Ferrari FXX - Why this iconic car is missing is beyond BUT lets add another Honda Civic.

The 2000 Audi R8 Race Car a iconic race car that took racing to another level and any team that wanted to go up agaiest team audi needed to bring it.

The saleen S7 A American Supercar that took on the best and won.

The GT6 track editor was so awesome! Much better than the randomized one in GT5.
