You don't need to zoom in to see that.
One of the drawbacks they had to do to achieve 60 FPS was to have an extremely low texture filtering.
It's something you will notice anytime you play the game.

My most hyped game of 2015. Loved 4, and this one looks even better. Can't wait to put countless hours into this game.
With both Gears and this being available this holiday season, for me, Xbox is absolutely the best place to play. Looking forward to good times with old buddies!

they didn't do a great job with textures in halo 4 either so this is expected, especially with that framerate.
Amazing how people react this way to something like this. Seriously, who cares? This changes nothing with regards to gameplay, so why bother complaining about this?

Look at the ground there, you can't tell me it doesn't look like it does on that screenshot.
And the whole video looks like that, it's the way the game looks. You can not be bothered by it but the game will still look like this on October 27th.

In this case yes it is. It's been proven over and over that this is the case. The screenshot clearly points out the lack of texture filtering.
Spend 10 minutes playing with an anisotropic filtering setting in a PC game and come back to us.
Btw, I think it's pretty clear that the original post was poking fun, not rejecting the game outrught.

Arena doesn't have classes. It's not like Halo 4.
Warzone is new game mode. 12vs12 with AI. You have objectives to complete.
I'd be too busy shooting things and moving around to be looking at the ground for texture filtering.
Warzone is their big new mode, 12v12 with AIs thrown into the mix.
It's just Plywood being Plywood. He actually doesn't care.

tbh i'll take the flat texture after playing Destiny, where any geometry you see is literally geometry. If Bungie made that, grenades would get stuck between the stones.

Um? Lol okay...I said it in an intentionally goofy way, but alright.
I like how pointing out the technical shortcomings of games (fairly obvious in this case) suddenly makes you a curmudgeon that can't enjoy the hobby.
Edit: I wasn't even the one that pointed it out. I'm just simply acknowledging the fact that it is a "problem." Game still looks gorgeous.
