When you're literally told your community is unwelcome on GAF why would devs post? But Frank has a point. Look how many devs have stopped posting. Even Destiny which is one of the most active communities here, guys like Luke and Urk have largely stayed away.
The level or discourse is so poor. Don't get me wrong, I've made my fair share of emotional posts but there is never a need for personal insults. It's happening to every community as well. People think because they sit behind a keyboard they can say what they want without consequence. You think if people saw 343 devs at a restaurant or expo, they'd be like "fuck you guys you ruined my series, you're taking mental dumps you morons".
Who knows though. I hope once the game launches, we're having fun, the community rejuvenated and we have our thread back, we'll be able to reorganize and we can bring that level of respect back. It would be amazing if Quinn posted here again. I remember he did when he got hired after H4.
