I loved the show, but it fell off hard after Season 3. I believe it changed writers which definitely showed. Aside from that my main issues with the show is that it eventually became very formulaic.

1. Uhtred warns other characters of danger.
2. Other character ignore him or try to imprison him.
3. Uhtred was right and everyone is now fucked.
4. Uhtred has to bail everyone out and save them.
5. Wessex thanks Uhtred for his services.
6. New Season starts.
7. Circle back to 1.

The main character sounds like a robear berbil but otherwise it’s a decent watch.
