If you had to do a TED talk, what topic would you pick?

Dacvak

No one shall be brought before our LORD David Bowie without the true and secret knowledge of the Photoshop. For in that time, so shall He appear.
The technological abilities and limitations of VGM from the early 80s to mid 90s. I dunno if anyone would care though lol.

Gotta be something like "murder the audience in your head," just some big treatise about social anxiety. A lot of the most awkward social interactions I've seen on and offline revolve around someone trapped by the responses they expect out of other people, metering their self-expression accordingly. Happened to me, it could happen to anybody. Weird Al was right, you can dare to be stupid, and more often than not it's fine, fun, and free.

It would have something to do with training or nutrition for sure. I'd probably give a presentation on how one should not follow fitness or nutrition advice from people who have no formal training or education in the field, regardless of how good they look or how much they've achieved. Too many beautiful idiots spreading copious amounts of misinformation these days, and it's really hurting people's health. From the carnivore diet and keto to veganism and intermittent fasting, the amount of absolute nonsense that people are believing now just boggles the mind.

Personal Best 3 games released in last two cycles. I’ll create a list of all the games I beat and pick from that

Or mma fighter of the year 2024 either Alex or ilia (might make it a draw who knows)

If everything else fails, go meta. Do a 10 minute talk called "How to figure out what to talk at TED about".

Personally I'd maybe go with "Mo-e-ru: How cute girs are the epitome of masculine heterosexual entertainment".

Anyone asks etc.

You have diarrhoea… what you want me to go home or should i power through?
Constipated or something

Bonus.
Also always eat lunch at your desk. Take your time. Then go out for your lunch break. Extra lunch time. (Especially for you live in a country where it’s mandatory)

look into suggested desk breaks. Make sure you stick to it. Get up walk around etc.

(All of this requires you actually do you job well as no one will harass you)

Maybe throw in some graphs about how much you can make per month poop My for 30 mins or more.

suggest best times.

Thank you for coming to my ted talk.

Goes without saying. But wash. Your hands.

I don't know, I think I have 3 or 4 of them in me. Let's see

Why would anybody design floating point math to work that way. (Side note, I'm a software engineer and hear so many of us not understand it. Even when they try to explain I've never heard anybody utter the phrase "sig figs". If you don't understand that, floating points make no sense but they do if you do. Yes seriously.)

The 4 rules of the road for driving with other people.(I'm tempted to turn this into a book since so many drivers are so terrible and clearly don't know my 4 rules of the road and I figure I might be able to make some money selling the book to driving schools. None of the 4 rules are actually hard.)

Explaining quantum entanglement using Sweetarts. (I would need to consult with a physcists to make sure it's actually correct but what I came up with it seems worlds better than anything I've seen in layperson science publications.)

The most basic concept physicists mess up when trying to explain relativity to regular people. (That's pretty much no preferred frame of reference. For a long time I couldn't even understand the basics of relativity and then I figured out most of the examples I saw implied there was a prefered frame of reference. I'm guessing they don't notice they're doing it but they are and it leads to confusion.)

Oh wait, you're talking about joke ones right?
