IGNxGamer - DLSS 4 vs. DLSS 3 vs. FSR 3 Performance Review

He came away very impressed with the new DLSS4. In Star Wars Outlaws, he calls 4K DLSS4 Performance "largely superior to native".

He also states that DLSS4 improves upon or resolves the issues of all other upscalers on consoles and PC alike.

There is a performance cost, but it's worth it seeing how clearly superior it is. Do keep in mind that his comparisons are made at 4K DLSS Performance, so it's pretty insane. I usually never touch that except in rare cases, but it seems to be viable with DLSS4.

tl;dr it's the undisputed king.

Do I just need to install the new Nvidia driver and it automatically works in all past Dlss enabled games?

Do we know if DLSS4 will be available for Kingdoms Come Deliverance 2? Want to test it with that game on day 1 🙏 🙏 🙏
Driver notes: Get Game Ready for DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Generation and new RTX technologies in Alan Wake 2, Cyberpunk 2077, Hogwarts Legacy, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle™, and Star Wars™ Outlaws. And for the release of Kingdom Come: Deliverance II and Marvel's Spider-Man 2.

DLSS 4 is pretty nice, but I'm getting it on good authority that PSSR may be even better than a 5090. Epic thread that GAF will never let me live down on the way😉
Between PSSR and that amazing 5070 that’s better vs 4090, gamers finally have a Choice! (as long as they don’t need a disk drive on their Pro)

🤣😂😅🤡🤡🤡

I've poked around in the Nvidia control pane and used the individual game DLSS options and selected 'Latest' on those that had it.
Not many games available :( Even those that use DLSS. What gives?
I was hoping that games would just simply popup ingame with a new option like CP77 to switch between CNN/Transform. :(
I'm assuming that the games that came out before 1/30/25 will just stay using whatever DLSS version they had when released, and I have to do this individually until a game gets patched.
Can anyone explain? Do I understand this correctly?
