Oh man, nice to see they're friends again.

And I'm curious to see what pro optimizations, if any, there are.

This won't sell well on PS5 at full price due to it not being day and date on the console.

In the future, in order to maximize profit, MS needs to make sure these games release day and date on PS5. Otherwise, sales will always be muted.

I'm somewhat willing to pay full price for a good MS game that someone else gets for a dollar. I'm not willing to do that 6 months late. They will make some money on this but could have made so much more.

They already know this and are working to make future games day and date on PS5 imho.

Will dip again on PC once the full DualSense support will arrive.

Go get it on PS5, a match made in heaven for the hardware, especially the Pro. Nice touch with Nolan too.

At the end of that commercial or whatever it was, I completely expected a copy of the Ps5 version to be in the box.. was a little disappointed.

Bethesda: announces IJ
Microsoft: buys Bethesda
Microsoft: "pweeese Disney can we have exclusive?"
Disney: sure
Microsoft: pweeeese Disney can we have ps5?

It's a good thing this game is really good.

This will happen no doubt. I believe the reason for the staggered releases is that it took time for the various development teams to get up to speed with supporting another platform.

You think they cancelled it

It was already in developed before Microsoft bought them. After that they were just like "nah, let's buy it and make it exclusive". Probably didn't scrap the project at all from the look of it, seems like they let it as a back up plan.

Image if 5 years ago you'd have told people:
"So MS is going to make this ad where they'll pay Nolan North to essentially talk about being Nathan Drake for the the release of a big exclusive they are bringing to PS5".

I'll definitely get this down the line, but not for $70.

Played a bit of it on a high end PC. Might dive back in on the pro if I find some time between Stellar Blade and Death Stranding DC

Cool to see it on PS!

They will be. This game just released at an odd time during the transition of going third-party.

The fact they announced the PS5 version before the Xbox version released shows this. The PS5 version just wouldn't be ready and they saw no reason to delay the Xbox version when it was already finished.

I'm interested in playing Indiana Jones and the Great Circle. Thought it was going to be a girl-boss disaster like The Dial of Destiny. Thankfully, from what I'm hearing, it seems to be on par with the Raiders of the Lost Ark in terms of character interactions, and the female character that Indy teams up with is similar to how Marion acted in that movie.

However, I'm adopting a wait-and-see attitude. I heard rumors the Physical Edition needs the Internet to download, so I'm waiting until I see if it's true or not.

They've worked hard on the ad and it will also be improved on PS5 Pro, even though it comes out months later it will surely be the best-selling version and they know it.

Best game of 2024, IMO. I actually took my Xbox Series X out of mothballs and reconnected it just to play it. Machine Games knocked it out of the park and delivered a rousing adventure game that rivals the best from Naughty Dog. If the Pro version looks and plays better than the Xbox game, I will double dip at some point when it goes on sale.

Bro, who cares

If it's a good game you want to play, full price is not an issue

I had plenty of other games to play when this dropped in December

Im not going to be butthurt about them being redirected to make a port last minute

Day and date seems like it's the way forward anyways

They didn't waste anytime with this one. Probably hasn't recouped. I think Indy is one of those franchises over estimated in terms of value by gen X and millennials. I wouldn't invest AAA money in an Indy game. Even if it's great it's a tough sell.
