it's a badass game. not trying to bust your balls, but i've had a genuine blast replaying it, especially considering i stupidly considered skipping it & just going to infamous 2. also, they're still for sale as a $20 bundle on the ps3 store...

Not busting at all. I'm on the brink of just buying a PS3 to play it. And part 2.

The first one is still my favorite in the series. Not sure if I'd rock. it today but at the time, it was so addicting. Best main character from the series too.

the ps2 ratchet & clank / god of war bundles are also on the store, as are a number of other ps2 games. i'd already bought arkham: origins & enslaved, so not sure if they're still available (i think they are). &, if you can access the japanese ps3 store, be sure to grab the demon's souls dynamic theme!...

enjoy!...

Been a while, who kills themselves?

?

First one was a great game, didn't touch the 2nd one. Second Son was meh and first light was dog shit.

Kessler, who was really Old man Cole who lost everything to the Beast, travels back in time and breadcrumbs his younger self on a path to be strong enough to defeat the beast.

okay, 'devastating' kinda threw me off. 'unique', or 'bizarre', i might've caught what you were referring to. i guess it was intended to be devastating, but the whole damn game is just so unrelentingly over-the-top hard-boiled/arch, i spent most of my playthrough cracking up (trish's death scream included). just shows what kinda callous bastard i am, i guess. for me, this game's right up there with l.a. noire as an 'unintentionally hilarious' gem...

I enjoyed these games, and I'm probably in the minority of those who liked Second Son the best. It was a bit short and content thin, but the mechanics and traversal were really fantastic.

Alas, I think Spider-Man probably displaced this series in Sony's roster, along with the success of Ghost of Tsushima.

First infamous was a little repetitive. Same as Second Son. But infamous 2 is the best open world game I've ever played. With insane traversal, random spectacular encounters and a good enough combat. The cherry on top were graphics impossible for the time and a buddy movie-like script.

Never bothered with Sushima but maybe the Shogun TV show can change that.
