Hi Italia Gaf, I know this topic is for the people who wants to explore Italy but this time I want to use it for the opposite motive.

This March I' ll move to Boston for a 12-month internship. My problem is, since it's my first relocation, I don' t really know how to find an house/room/where to live. What is the best way to move and search ?

Find an hostel/room on airbnb for one/two weeks searching in person a place ? Find it directly from internet so that the day I' ll arrive I already have a room (is that even possible ?) ? I' m starting to really, REALLY panicking and I' m frightened to arrive in the USA and not know where to go.

Someone had a similar experience/lives in Boston/can help me ?

The really, really good advice I will give you following my experience of moving to SanFran and then London (5 years) is this: for the love of God move there at least a couple weeks BEFORE starting at work. It'll be a living hell trying to find a place to live, make a bank account (to get paid) and so on once you've started working, believe me.

Has anyone been to San Pietro Avellana? It's a small village in the Isernia Region. It's where the Italian side of my family comes from. Planning to visit it for the first time this summer and take my greataunt back home for probably her last time.

Sto in città, cena con amici a casa mia perchè mannaggia a cristo lavoro sia il 31 che l'1 di mattina.

Per la metro non saprei, ma sarebbe una scelta abbastanza saggia..

Anyway, I've heard someone theorising this is all done consciously, like, trying to achieve that perfect ugliness level that grants you an infinite amount of free publicity.
At first I was skeptical, as I felt it's too ugly for a proper graphic designer to pull off, but the more I look at these masterpieces, the more I think it could be true...

It's the same philosophy the Daily Mail follows, it works. Just take a look at Beppe Grillo's blog (or not), it's like a discount Buzzfeed.

I don't think their purpose is to clickbait people.

It's more like to lure all us 20/30-something smug motherfuckers, wasting our lives mocking shit on Facebook, to, well, mock that on Facebook.

Or not.

I dunno, I just hope those images keep coming forever, even long after the Expo is over. :D

I have a few lines of text that I need to translate to italian. Could someone give me a help?
This is for a game I've developed.


You can speed up the game by pressing the fast forward button (or space key).
To gain a better time bonus, escort the necessary snails and then go for the coins.
Coins are optional. You don't need them to finish the levels.
Sometimes you don't need all snails to finish a level.
If you find a level too hard, try levels from other themes.
Can't get a gold medal? Try other levels and come back later.
Drop the objects on the floor, snails will pick them up and use it.
When a snail hits the border of the map, they will turn back.
To get a gold medal you'll need: all snails and medals in the best possible time.
Gold medal requirements for the level are displayed in the pause menu.

Puoi accelerare il gioco premendo il tasto "avanti veloce" (o la barra spaziatrice).
Per ottenere bonus di tempo migliori, scorta le lumache necessarie e poi dedicati alle monete.
Le monete sono opzionali. Non ne hai bisogno per finire il livello.
Talvolta non avrai bisogno di tutte le lumache per finire un livello.
Qualora trovassi un livello troppo difficile, prova dei livelli provenienti dagli altri temi.
Non riesci a prendere la medaglia d'oro? Prova altri livelli e tornaci più tardi.
Lascia cadere oggetti sul pavimento, le lumache li raccoglieranno per utilizzarli.
Quando una lumaca tocca il bordo della mappa, tornerà indietro.
