Why are we supposed to care for zombieism again?

It's literally an infectious disease.

Stop being Zombphobic you racist.
Being a Zombie provides many advantages, case and point Liv Moore, who is a Zombie who uses her abilities to solve crime. Before you start throwing out hate speech out of your mouth, remember Zombies are human to.

Caught up and ready for S3. Random musings:

-I too miss Rita's sexy ass.

:(
-BUT season 2 is giving us more of Peyton in a pencil skirt, so I guess we are good?
-Peyton's thirst knows no bounds, I swear.
-Major finding himself front and center in this mess is indeed such a Major thing to do. Can't catch a break.
-We all know Blaine is playing the long con, right?
-We all know Vivian killed that family just to fuck with Clive, right?

It was a good season opener and I really like what the writers are doing with the universe. That was a lot of world building for a single episode.

They were once human. If they still are we would have to call them cannibals.

First of all calling a high functioning zombie a cannibal is very close minded. They do not choose to eat brains, they need to, in order to survive. While it is true they fit the definition of a cannibal, I would argue that cannibal is a out dated term with a negative connotation, that doesnt take into context the current situation.

You missed an entire season.

I think the he means 3.

What if you don't consider it a disease but the next human evolution. To them humans are nothing more than the ape is to us.

We don't live on ape brains.

Jokes aside I really don't like this direction of needing to protect zombies instead of trying to live with it and find a cure. It's just unrealistic to an umpth degree to think a zombie nation could work or is even desireable and first and foremost you gotta consider humanities safety over zombies'.

Serious Sam is a wicked gahbidge series for chowdaheads.
I think we're presuming a lot about Filmore Graves' intentions. We're just an episode in.

It'll probably be revealed that they plan to breed humans on the island as an off the books source of brains.

They haven't given up on the cure angle at all. It makes sense some would like the inherent advantages of being zombie and the show is going to explore the negatives and positives more closely as both competing solutions get more development.

I mean you basically get superpowers like streght and immortality and all you need to is get hooked by a corporation like Fillmore, i can see why people would love it

I could buy Liv's self preservation and desire to protect major once he was turned but I just don't buy the whole "what will happen to zombies" angle.
People do eat ape meat in some countries.
per choice

Zombies here are sorta like mutants in the X-Men universe. Potentially dangerous but not definitely dangerous. They're immune to disease and are more durable than humans, which would cure diseases. But they're also able to pass on the zombie-ism really easy and can become murder machines if they don't get regular access to fresh brains. It's a bit of a ticking time bomb.

The show hasnt really tackled this and they might never do it but I wonder if a Zombie can get pregnant and would the baby be a human, a zombie or something else?

Blaine's funeral home being called "Shady Plots" is my favorite of them all.

So glad this is on UK Netflix, just watched the first Ep, was glad they picked up where they left off and reintroduced all the loose ends like major being a time bomb.

I kind of want the zombie leader woman to be good this season, it's far too predictable to be her that killed the family.

Actually lol'ed at the name of the company

Lashley

Why does he wear the mask!?
What's the company name I missed it

Can't wait for tonight's episode. Moody major will be great.

Just the premise that eating brains gives you the memories of the deceased, and solving murders. The main character here even has a different name. No ghosts or vampires. The producers mentioned not being particularly interested in crossing that bridge.

Imagine Veronica Mars but with more brain eating.

Honestly nothing but the fact there is zombies and brains give you their personality and memories. Even the explanation of zombies is different in the show than the comic, it more scifi here

There's just one thing about this show that really, really annoys me.

They aren't Zombies! They're Ghouls!

The main character's whole deal is ripped off wholesale from Delta Green's Agent NANCY, a ghoul ME that provides information by eating brains.

The scene transitions in Episode 2 were A+. Like how they balanced the present day case with Clive's interview, in addition to his flashbacks of Wally. Or when Clive came to the realization that crime scenes make Liv hungry and they cut right to the "brain cooking" montage of the week.

- Clive's with the cop 'stache
- Major on teenage girl brain. OMG
- Wally got Clive started on Game of Thrones. Aww, what a sweet callback. I like that the Wally back story is being filled in to make it even more meaningful.
- "Been there, done that, bought the T-shirt" If I had a nickel...
- Nice Full House moment. "Thanks, Dad Brain"
- What kinda loser posts on a message boar-oh, nevermind

Fantastic episode. Really enjoyed this one, much more than the opener actually. Clive's backstory was great and the scene transitions were seamless and awesome.

So glad to have this show back. Looking forward to the next episode.

Really great stuff for Clive this week and as mentioned by others I loved the Game of Thrones callback. I loved both of the brains this week. Honestly thought Liv's dad brain was as funny as Major's teenage girl brain even if it didn't seem as exciting on paper. The way they played off each other for laughs and to work the case was nice as well. Seemed super obvious the mom was the killer once she showed up, but everything else was great.

Agreed this was a really good episode for Clive, gotta know better than to let little dude watch GOT though.

Liv/Major as dad/daughter was great, really funny.

Ravi just needs to talk to Peyton.

Another example of a show working better when all the main characters are clued in and not keeping secrets from each other.

Hopefully when The Flash returns, the ratings will go up for the show.
