Thanks to the archiving of all the numbers on this board i looked into it. We don't have numbers for as far back as July 2004 (Was the board started after then or something? Board erasing maybe?) Anyway, as of June 2005, Xenosaga Ep 2 has sold 141,821 copies, so ToS has at least doubled it.

Well, if you ignore the skew introduced by comparing a sample of 11 to a sample of 190, it could possibly be explained by the fact that the xbox was advertised as being technologically advanced. In order to make a game that appeals to the same audience as was buying the game to begin with, they step it up a notch.

But I doubt that really impacts things to that degree. Most likely it's just a poor sample.

Well bh4 probably outsold it by now. And then there's the PS2 version, too.

That said, FIle 2's not SO bad. I've invested 45 hours online.

That Capcom info. is amazingly old (not denouncing the poster of it) just saying for general knowledge. It was released to the public March 31st. Thus that information is dated back to then.

BH4 probably surpassed RE:Outbreak 2 in Japan (even if little)...that is if the used game market isn't --that-- bad.

And I agree with the user who's overly obsessed with Resident Evil, RE:Outbreak 2 is not a bad game at all for those who have a Sony HDD.

Sony HDD + Playing with fellow GAFers/IGNers/FAQers + Tolerance of oldschool RE gameplay = Fun online experience.

And get this...hardly any pricks on RE:Outbreak 2. It's social structure is like the antithesis of Halo 2 online.
