John Boyega attacks Stars Wars fans for not wanting him as a hero

She was in the second Shazam, not the first. Also, Shazam 1 has a 90%/82% for critics/audience on Rotten Tomatoes, and made 360 million on a 100 million dollar budget, so I’m not seeing how that qualifies as mediocre in either regard.
100 million isn't small fry budgeting, and that only 360 million dollars worth of demand was there with DC slapped on it is mediocre by any stretch of the imagination. Shazam/Captain Marvel used to be a pretty popular comic back in the day too.

I know she was in the sequel, I'm saying that the first movie wasn't even a huge launch pad for the second.

He's been whining about this stuff for *years*, he clearly has a massive chip on his shoulder and a problem with white people for denying him the stardom he thinks he deserves.
Again, you're framing his statement into something he didn't say. It's ironic: He's reading into things said and insinuated to and about him and coming to the conclusion that SOME (he literally does say "some") white SW fans have a problem with him, and your response is to read into that conclude that he must have a problem with whites.

Of course you're not obligated to "play along" with anything. But don't make the same mistake you perceive him to be making.

If he has a pop at Disney he'll never work again, in fact I'd be amazed if he wasn't put up to this statement as damage control old for Disney race swap movies bombing one after the other
Again, no. He's criticized Disney directly.

I guess it's better than pulling another Smollett, I do wonder if this is based on how Disney marketed him in the film as Asmongold pointed out.

Well, no, I'm not going to play along with that and neither should anyone else. There is nothing anyone can say to this guy or anybody else bought into this racial ideology that will change their mind.

Everything you just said is wrong.... And ProtoByte ProtoByte is 100% correct

After the first one, I think we all thought he would be the lead, probably with Poe and maybe Rey having a Luke training in Empire and flirting with the Dark side experience.

It was the writers who utterly fucked him (and Poe in the second one) - neutering their characters and side-lining them completely for the purple haired shrew and the chubby Asian chick. I think the fans hated that as much as Boyega tbf.

Disney completely fucked that franchise up. You had the Empire - basically Nazi Germany - all white men - fighting the Rebels - a diverse bunch of decent people, and the Rebels won, with some cool battles/space dogfights thrown in. Pretty easy to understand and tapped into the culture of the late 20th Century where WW2 was still a big thing.

Now the Empire is an equal opportunities employer with a few rotten apples and half the rebels are trigger-happy nutcases or angry loners - who are you supposed to root for?! trying to get us to shed a tear for a guy who basically murdered his parents and a whole planet was a stretch too. Terrible storytelling.

I've personally never once came across anyone who was opposed to him having the Force and becoming a Jedi after The Force Awakens...so its a bit odd seeing him going against Star Wars fans.

Boyega, before all that racist schtick buffoonery, was the most fascinating element of the new Star Wars—right up there with Adam Driver. Then they sidelined him in favour of the God Empress Rey. Most fans I knew, myself included, were squarely in his corner, eager to see the stormtrooper evolve into a Jedi and become the main hero. Instead, Disney crashed and burned the rest of the trilogy. At this point, Boyega should be directing all his anger at Kathleen and her cronies instead. It's damn incredible how scared everyone in Hollywood is of Kathleen.
