100 million isn't small fry budgeting, and that only 360 million dollars worth of demand was there with DC slapped on it is mediocre by any stretch of the imagination. Shazam/Captain Marvel used to be a pretty popular comic back in the day too.She was in the second Shazam, not the first. Also, Shazam 1 has a 90%/82% for critics/audience on Rotten Tomatoes, and made 360 million on a 100 million dollar budget, so I’m not seeing how that qualifies as mediocre in either regard.
I know she was in the sequel, I'm saying that the first movie wasn't even a huge launch pad for the second.
Again, you're framing his statement into something he didn't say. It's ironic: He's reading into things said and insinuated to and about him and coming to the conclusion that SOME (he literally does say "some") white SW fans have a problem with him, and your response is to read into that conclude that he must have a problem with whites. He's been whining about this stuff for *years*, he clearly has a massive chip on his shoulder and a problem with white people for denying him the stardom he thinks he deserves.
Of course you're not obligated to "play along" with anything. But don't make the same mistake you perceive him to be making.
Again, no. He's criticized Disney directly. If he has a pop at Disney he'll never work again, in fact I'd be amazed if he wasn't put up to this statement as damage control old for Disney race swap movies bombing one after the other
