Brace yourself, people. We might finally be getting a proper Junji Ito anime.
This the guy that has the story of the people drawn to holes in a wall and they walk through and end up all twisted at the end?
Im down for that...

I've watched community so many times since the pandemic that I should instantly realize what scene this is. I'll just blame the bong rip I did on not remembering.
Check a chapter or two online.Should I purchase the manga? I am a horror buff sort of person but I hate books. My brain is not hard wired to shit down and flip through some fucking pages. That said, I've read through Rurouni Kenshin, GANTZ, and Berserk online. Physical media is always great. Maybe it will be worth something one day.
The D&D episode had me DYING.I've watched community so many times since the pandemic that I should instantly realize what scene this is. I'll just blame the bong rip I did on not remembering.
I just watched the new trailer and it looks so freaking cool. I never read the comic, but I kinda want to now. I’ve got a long flight in a couple weeks, I might read some of it while I travel.
This is the type of anime you watch and when you fall asleep, you start seeing some creepy shit. I'm already scared.
Episode 2 took a quality nose dive. lol.
CG has been used in all anime for years. Netflix style of anime cg is bad because of the artstyle. Not the use of it.On the bright side thanks to both episodes being back to back, maybe anime fans will finally see that there is a legitimate difference between good CG and bad CG animation, and that the CG itself was never the problem.
Your statement already isn’t true because it’s a blanket statement. Even you know this. Certain CG animation studios under Netflix are good, and some are bad. If you’ve been noticing a similar artstyle amongst some of them, check the credits.CG has been used in all anime for years. Netflix style of anime cg is bad because of the artstyle. I haven't seen a Netflix produced anime that I have liked the look of. It's a blanket statement but a true one(for me). I'm sure I haven't seen them all. I'm also far from the only one with this opinion. If you like them that's fine of course.Your statement already isn’t true because it’s a blanket statement. Even you know this. Part of this reason you feel this way is because Netflix got a bad reputation for it in the 2010s. I’ve said this before in other threads, it took some of these studios time to improve. Most of them had to crawl to walk, and they’re going to keep improving their craft every 5ish years. We are going to see more studios grow to become as good or better than studio orange, blue spirit, fortiche, etc.I haven't seen a Netflix produced anime that I have liked the look of. This is a different conversation that is harder to engage with, because the people who want traditional media back are much harder to please than anyone else.it's also 100 percent true that every anime is made on a computer these days and has been for years. it really is down to art direction for me.
