Wassup kpopgafbrothas. I decided to do the most Korean thing I could think of so I dropped by a PC 방 for a quick minute. Had to ask a 13 year old kid how to log in, lol. You'd think those English signs on the outside would translate to at least some English inside. Also, the few Korean words I picked up from kpop and random variety shows here and there are more or less completely useless for the things I'm trying to communicate here. It is kind of amusing walking around not understanding anything but then recognizing the kpop song playing on the radio though. The kpop is a lot more prevalent than I was expecting.

The ad/perfume is new, girls/pic is probably from 2011.
It's amazing walking down the street and hearing kpop blasting from clothing/cell phone stores. Although the only kpop I've ever heard in a club was a remixed 2NE1.
Check out the 2nd floor SM store at the Spao store in Myeong Dong. Get a Tmoney card for the subway too.

Lol, yeah the local convenience store blasting Twinkle, A Pink Hush at multiple stores, some f(x) Pinocchio in a Starbucks clone coffee shop, etc. It's everywhere! I like it.

I just linked from the English side of g-market, still the same e-retailer. Weirdly the prices are different, maybe they added shipping costs.
Do you mean 플랜트플래닛 (the seller of the item you posted, i think) by e-retailer? I can't find a link to them from the promotion link I posted. IIRC gmarket is like ebay, there are many different sellers. My concern was whether 플랜트플래닛 is actually selling the real thing.

Nothing catchy about it. Ultra-generic boyband sound which 80% of boyband offerings are these days. All of the men in kpop need to step up their game, which Big Bang had just done, making this regression all the more disappointing.
As for the WG... It's like when white suburbians try to be ghetto, which you can see on youtube now and then. I'm sure if I grew up in Korea and not in the ghetto in America I'd like it. As it is, it's like the uncanny valley effect in musical form, specifically with the target being André 3000.
