I think it's more of a pop star thing than anything else. Justin Timberlake did the same thing, and he's hardly the first male singer to make that jump.

Mini-bump, but Dave Chapelle, Sam Elliot, and Andrew Dice Clay have now joined the movie.

Chappelle will play a character named Noodles, who is Cooper’s oldest friend with whom he started out playing with in blues clubs.

Scenes were shot at Coachella for the film.
