its not about opinions or knowledge of pop is irrelevant to the point of hand . its not like you need to know the inner mechanics of a car to see how famous it is worldwide. your opinion of how good or how much you like a particular artist/actor has nothing to do with world wide recognition. something that is or isn't has nothing to do with people's opinions, the question of how famous something is clearly a numbers game. the number of people who know of the person vs the number of people of who don't . this thread clearly had people who had ( and i not quite sure if this is the right word ) personal bias.

with regards to my experience , it always seems like people get put down especially when it comes to music industry. penetrance is paramount . its almost like they get insulted when they find out people don't care about their favourite artist or don't care to learn about them . its almost like they feel less as a person based on how famous their QUEEN is . i find this disturbing and dare i say it nauseating . when a persons feelings are tied to their representation/approval/penetrance of someone else. i personally have no feelings about either rihana or dicaprio one way or another . if they make each other happy . i am happy for them . its not like our opinions on this even matter on that front.
