Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii | The First 13 Minutes of Gameplay

This looks like fun but $59.99 isnt happening on my end. Once it's down to like $39.99 I'll bite. Never played a Yakuza or Judgement game I haven't enjoyed but if this is like the Kiryu stand alone then it's a Gaiden game.

Seeing that familar beach really makes this feel like an addon to the last Yakuza rather than its own thing.

Ahhh, this is your second Yakuza game I see, very nice.

As much as I'm looking forward to Majima in Pirateland this series is just releasing way too frequently now, I need 2-3 years break between entries. Plus it's coming out in a stacked Q1 so I'll probably pick it up in late 2025/early 2026.

I could never get into these game tried a few but they all just seem over the top silly. I get that's what they are but it just didn't resonate with my limited gaming time as a worthy addition. This looks even more silly

These games tend to drop in price pretty quickly from what I've seen.

Will pass one this one. I've never enjoyed the Yakuza side games. But I'll be there day 1 for the next main game.
I enjoyed 'Man Who Erased His Name' last year and I finished it (15 -20 hours). It's the only one I finished (have 0,6,7, Infinite) and really enjoyed it.

I played Man who Erased His Name and loved it.

By spin-offs I meant the stuff that is just goofy side adventures like this.

I haven't been able to keep up with all the LAD shit but I'll be playing this because it looks fun and ridiculous.

As with all things Yakuza, I'm there. Thank Christ for going back to the action based combat, and I see they gave Majima some new moves. Much needed honestly as his mad dog fighting style, while fun, just always seemed slightly underpowered when playable for some reason.

They are about to fully jump the shark folks. I love the series but I think they need to move on from the original characters since the head guy left to do his own new thing (new studio?).

The pirate ship battle looks so amazing and I'm itching to get it.

I think I really have to start playing Yakuza games in order to understand who everyone is.

I'll get this after the 300 hours Im gonna put in Like a Dragon and Infinite Wealth. By then RGG is practically giving the game away for me.

I loved Yakuza because of Japan and the Yakuza culture representation.

What is this really? This is not Yakuza man

Ugh
